Have bought a PS4 console just by itself.

It has had a factory reset done however I can't connect the only controller I have for it.

A wireless nacom controller but has a usb dongle for the wireless use.

It is asking me to connect by usb cable and pressing the home button however when pressing the home button it just tries to repair with the usb receiver.

Have tried rebooting/resetting and entering safe mode also tried a PS3 control with no luck.

Any suggestions or am I going to have to buy another remote.
Thanks

Oh, you should have asked the seller to have the PS4 set on the main dashboard because I think the console needs a controller that's recognized as a DualShock 4.

Recognized. So it doesn't have to be necessarily the official, but it helps if you don't know.

Nacom is an officially licensed third party PS4 controller so it probably isn't seen as a DS4.
