xbmc origins and xbmc4xbox freezing on 2 different consoles

hi, i have a weird problem.

i have 2tsop xboxes one 1.4 and one 1.2 revision.
both modded the same way and i can swap hdd's in between as they are nulled and unlocked.
i installed xbmc4xbox and xbmc origins on both xboxes.
both have 2tb hdd with a hde ide to sata adapters and filled with 900 games.
when scrolling between games in the games menu they often freeze the console and i have to reboot to solve this.
any suggestion or are these xbmc skins a little to heavy for the xbox processor.
anyone with any experience on this subject, maybe another better dash or skin ?
or should i buy better ide to sata adapters ? (hde is known to be slow)

Personally, I'd say go with UnleashX.

XMBC is nice but not very practical in this day and era.

so i found the problem, when downloading gameart i put a few maps in the games directory that didn't contain any xbe files, i removed the files and enabled fast parsing in the settings menu and i was good to go.
i am using xbmc4gamers, 2019 last updated. xbmc origins is a real pain in the axe... to much going on and not much memory to spare, its slow as hell.
xbmc4gamers is nice and smooth, easy to pick up and when you push down on the controller you get a quick skip bar that is ideal when you have alot of games on your hdd.
now on to the emulators...
