TC forums are fine they just wipe some noisy repetiting complains or tendancial polls. Complaining about censorship isn't wise and TC had explain their position long ago so it just a futile Poll not less not more and don't take this attitude ... take distance ... same for MadBob ... Peace

Well there's a new defect poll, and its even worse this time around as the results have been pegged at a 33% failure no matter how many people are voting and IIRC we're now close to 100 which in other circumstances would be a fairly significant sampling of sold Evos I'd hazard. The only problem would be how many forum members are there just because their Evo died or was DOA v. those looking for info, etc.

I still prefer the Evo from the little I've used it v. a SCDS1, but their defect rate is incredibly high for a solid state electronics device... I mean ffs they don't even have a spring for the uSD slot, which is where I'd expect most failures in that portion of the product(mechanical).

No spring is just fine after few uses you even prefer that ... and it is better than a bad spring... my opinion.

I just got an infraction from Spen, yes I agree he's a little prick. He says I "insulted a member", but gave no proof as to where I did that. It was probably when I was criticizing TC for not providing RTS after the announced they'd released it "in a few days" over a week ago. I never post in those forums anyway, so that's probably what it was.

Here is my full answer. By the way the shop reports a 7% returning cards.

At these earliest times I've got a new CycloDS in a day without a problem and i receive a positive feedback in an hour directly from Team Cyclops too ( They even offer a free Micro SD card to one guy in trouble with a DOA ... now i better see them working on the next release )

My first one was not DOA it was even working perfectly on some DS and not at all on another one. So i return it and i've got a "full" working one since June. The second one was working from August till now. I also fixed a defective one for a friend but it is better to avoid opening the case and fixing it yourself.

I believe CycloDS is a very good card and TC a kickass team but they can't control chinese production & Nintendo legal actions both out of their range... but affecting their support.

I don't read this forum regularly guys so I only caught up with this one when a friend told me of all the Christmas spirited cheer I'd been missing over here!

It's always a tragedy when behaviour becomes an issue on a forum and bans are asserted.

Unfortunately on TC forums we have had issue with a few individuals who, because they are unhappy then decide to hijack lots of threads or start polls which serve only to vent their anger.

While I understand people's right to be heard I do not condone any individual taking the axe they have to grind and spoiling the experience for other members by using every post they contribute to a forum as a platform for being downright nasty or fulfilling their own personal vendetta at every conceivable opportunity. Unfortunately, from time to time we get a few angry teenagers who are used to balling and shouting at their parents when they don't get video game X bought for them in Walmart who decide to import their angry tactics into the peaceful pages of our forum but it never works out well for them.

Of course, because I am quite proactive in confronting what I consider to be unreasonable commentary I am obviously going to get flamed when people disagree with my moderating decisions. This neither deters nor discourages me. Often it confirms that the right decision has been made. Take this thread for example. One guy gets an infraction at our forum and his considered response is to start an angry rant on another forum - the hallmark of maturity indeed.
