    Also, a smartwatch, as part of a planned "major" Android expansion.

    So far the whole "Android console" craze has been the exact opposite of what gamers normally want - a whole lot of consoles and no gaems. ;O;

    Or just the same games because they are running the same software.
    Makes me glad the GCW Zero is running OpenDingux and not android. Sure it's meant for emulation, but at least it's trying to be different.

    Eh, wait until things even out. When game consoles first started getting popular, there were TOOOOOONS of systems (TurboGrafix (typo?), Commodore 64, Jaguar, lots of Ataris, 3DO, lots of Nintendo and Sega systems, Intellivison, and more I can't remember). After a few years, I'm sure it'll wear down to just a few companies that will keep making them and have good reputations (Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo nowadays).

    Don't be silly. You're mixing up epochs big time here and thinking of the great computer crash in terms of consoles. Commodore 64 was a computer, not a console so that's scratched off the list. Atari's were divided into generations, so scratch that too. 3DO was from a different generation altogether, but at least a console in its own right, so were Nintendo's and Sega's systems as well as the TurboGrafx16/PC-Engine.

    We're not talking about different systems here, we're talking about varied hardware playing the same games on the same OS - the "Android Console" is more akin to the "PC" than it is to other consoles. I'm not quite sure what you're saying when it comes to matters evening out - Android had quite a bit of time to build up a library of games. There's also no reason why people would stop making those systems since they're essentially the exact same thing - it's not like they're in any way original. To be fair, some have dedicated stores but that's that - at the end of the day, they're all Android-based boxes with controllers connected to them, except glorified. They remind me of cheapo Linux-based systems you'd find at your average supermarket, except they're cross-compatible to an extent.
    It's all stemming from Linux somewhere down the line and I'd actually lean towards Android rather than OpenDingux simply because it's more refined, but each to their own, really.

    I guess we could have the small 3 running next to the big 3.

    Smart watch,console and Nexus Q? Don't they have Google Glass to deal with.

    If true, I wonder if the console is a replacement for Nexus Q?

    I'm not so sure I'd be down for this. The closest thing to a "killer app" for Android consoles is that WiFi PC game streaming from Nvidia.

    Am I the only person who thinks that anyone who buys an android based gaming system should re-evaluate what they are doing? I mean, it's a game console for mobile phone games. Unless I'm completely wrong and it's not just playing phone games on your tv. I mean, you can get a cord for your phone to do that.

    And I hope someone says "but then I can't play gta, Jake"
