Heh, i'm a toker. Hardcore stylin'.
Erm, out of curiosity, have any of you seen the anti-drug gent in the US that has spent 30 years trying to link weed to lung cancer? This past week, he posted that he has found no connection between the two, and has found the possibilities that marijuana may help prevent cancer.
I'd find a direct link right now, but i'm at work, and google + internet tracking + toker info = BAD for job.
More on this later.

It's bad enough we have drunk drivers, having people driving who are stoned are just as bad, if not worse off. Based on consumption levels I would wager that smoking weed would make you more impaired right away then having 3 bottles of beer, which is about the maximum one should be drinking before driving, alcohol also takes longer to get into your system, you aren't instantly drunk as soon as you have a sip, especially with mixed drinks. Marijuana should only be legal for medicinal reasons, thats it.
I would LOVE to have some of the stuff your friends are smoking. I've never gotten high from one puff. And it doesn't set in immediately. I've always found it easier to control my body when stoned, rather than drunk. I've never been frightened w/ a stoned driver (even while i'm sober), i've never been in a yelling match while stoned, i've never smoked so much that i've vomited (i know, people DO vomit from smoking, which is usually from coughing too hard), i've never woken up with a stoned-hangover and i'm still waiting to hear about someone dying from THC poisoning.
If ANYTHING, weed should be sold and controlled as alcohol is, and alcohol should be made illegal.
There have been many huge breakthroughs in marijuana regulation over the past 2 weeks in the US. And some major things are going to be happening in the near future.
