ah, you said " I installed Mega Man 2 (NTSC U) to real nand." and "the Wii freezes just the same." but " the crash is actually caused by USB Loader GX and the game runs perfectly fine when using WiiFlow. "
so I thought you talked about real NAND here.

Is Mega man 2 a compatible cIOS emuNAND game? or does it need neek2o ?
I think wiiflow uses neek2o by default, while usbgx uses cIOS mode by default. you need to tell usbgx to use neek mode instead if you have it set up.

I'm sorry for the confusion. After what portugeek said I'm not using realNAND anymore. I never got neek2o to work.

What I'm comparing now is emuNAND in ULGX versus emuNAND in WiiFlow, both using the same cIOS (d2x v10 beta52).
Besides choosing the right cIOS, all I do is force NTSC in the loader settings.
I have yet to find a game that doesn't work this way in WiiFlow, while many cause freezes in ULGX.

Edit: I missed your comment about WiiFlow using neek2o by default. It's integrated then? I do not have it installed.

If there's any additional information you need, any test I could perform to help you out please hit me up.

then the problem is maybe that USBLoaderGX has issues with game settings not applied on channels (I don't know why yet, didn't have time to take a look).
some settings have no effects, like aspect ratio, and maybe video settings too.

I don't know wiiflow, I used it only once, but didn't like the interface.
I thought it used neek mode. Maybe it defaults to cIOS mode if you don't have neek set up.

I'm pretty sure video settings are applied. Those NTSC games that work only work if I force NTSC mode.
