Sorry if this question has been asked MANY MANY MANY times but how is the solution to the AP for the DSTT going so far?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I was under the impression that the only difference increasing the file size makes is stopping the save from getting corrupted when it tries to take up more than 512mb. I really doubt it makes any difference on loading/saving speeds
