WoodTT requires patching of all games that arnt working because YWG closed the source so a new woodTT could not be made

so its quite out of date
I'm not sure with the logic of this, but I managed to update the woodTT firmware from 1.25 to 1.28 and again to 1.30 by just replacing the __rpg folder, but keeping the tt_sd.dldi file in the __rpg folder. I have tested with Ghost Trick (USA), Dragon Quest Monster Joker 2 Professional (JPN) and Dragon Quest VI - Realms of Reverie (EUR); all three in which doesn't work with 1.25, but works with newer versions of wood r4.
All these games work in my 1.25 but old games like mario and sonic @ the olympic games dont work
Thanks for the info.
I thought they wouldn't work on 1.25 (according to the changelog), but surprisingly they did when I put the original WoodTT 1.25 firmware.
Now I'm really confused

There's no AP bypass in wood, so newer games shouldn't be working...
But they are so thats satisfying. But WHAT ABOUT MY PROBLEM NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well about your problem, YWG didn't add support for those games, so I guess you'll have to wait animex to update his list.

I don't know. I'm pretty sure YWG won't add support and wood is closed source, so nobody else can edit it, which means nobody else can contribute in adding support. The only thing wood users can do is wait for patches by Animex.

The method of just replacing the __rpg folder is absolute bullcrap if you really think it's updating anything...I unfortunately can't take you seriously anymore.

Copy/paste of a comment I made on a stupid youtube video that thought that way.

FYI, just updating an ini file, some images, and the other non-binary stuff (in other words, updating everything but the _ds_menu.dat) DOESN'T DO SHIT...at best, maybe there is some info in the savesize.bin, but THAT IS ALL -_-"...

Reason why: You aren't updating the fucking loaders...you know, the stuff that actually load the game? Yeah, I thought not, especially after seeing so many people actually believing that updating languages and default save sizes is really going to do shit.

yea the _rpg folder just has themes and a dldi for homebrew, i think, i havnt touched wood in a while. Wood is able to boot these games because wood can boot pretty much ANY game. It's the AP in the game that makes the game incompatible with Wood.

Be a little nicer, Jurassic.
