Hacking WOOD for r4i-pro gold

STEP 1


First you will need the firmware for your r4-pro card and open a "special" upgrade. You can get it from here.

STEP 2


Now you will need to format your card with SD Formatter. But since this is a AWFUL clone it needs a "special" formatter. You can get it here.

Don't forget to format FULL!

STEP 3

Now drag'n'drop the firmware!

STEP 4

Now you need to put your flashcart in your DSi, and then open the only .nds file. Upgrade firmware, and thats all.

STEP 5

Now repeat step 2, drag'n'drop this firmware.

STEP 6

CONGRATS! YOU HAZ GAT WOOD FIRMWARE!!! ENJOY!

I did all the steps. At the end i copied the rpg and ds-menu file to the root. When i startup my ds xl i see the alex rider icon. When i choose that i only get a black screen with loading on it. Am i doing something wrong?

I need to know what sd card your using. And it will be very good if you would provide a picture of the inside of you flashcart.

1.download Akaio 1.5.1 cracked (google it),
2.Get R4i ultra 1.55 (google it)
3.put it in your sd card together with R4ultra 1.55.
4.rename your akmenu4.nds to _DS_MSHL.nds
5.put your r4 on your ds then open it
6.click on the note icon (center icon of r4)
7.then tell me what you see.

though you can't play latest games, but it's worth it believe me.
you and i have the same worst R4.

I am afraid that this doesn't work with a 4gb But you can try on other sd cards too (like 1gb, they don't cost that much)

I hav e two cards. Maybe I will make to children happy with these. I will buy other flashcard.

I tried AKAIO 1.8.1 from www.r4ids.com
The menu worked but when I tried starting a rom i get a message that my card could be fake. Maybe people can find a way to let the r4-pro work.

(and i tried just having, the wood r4 1.21v - _rpg folder and DS menu.dat and my game folder) and it was stuck on loading screen too! :X

did i do something wrong?! i followed your instructions again! This time, it's just stuck on the loading screen and it won't do anything else :/ can't even open up to the menu.
