Hacking Won't read discs

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if you can help me. I softmodded my friends wii for him (4.2U) using the tutorials found here, got USB loader up and working. Backups ran great!!

He called me earlier and said that the wii work read disc from the disc channel. It says that an update is required. Has anyone come across this? I've spend over an hour going through threads and can't find a topic regarding this.

If you installed priiloader you can block disk updates in that which may help.

yeh or use wiibrickblocker to patch iso
