you could rent games if there are any shops near you that do that, or use public torrent trackers (but then you face the wrath of the enforcers), or use usenet - the last option being the easiest but it will cost you money

sonic209, stop double posting. I've removed 3 - 4 double posts of yours in this topic alone.

well come on what else is the topic about

I know what the topic is about, I'm just wondering when you're going to figure out which swap magic discs to get, get them and use them. I mean, are you asking for post count purposes only? Or do you honestly have issues with spending $25 on a set of discs? The 3.6plus discs will do everything you need. It looks like swap magic just came out with the new coder discs, get those if you can, lots of features. I may even trade mine in..

i just want to find out everything about it before it comes out

Seriously sonic. You've made countless threads, don't attempt to hijack mine.

A simple question - how can I take advantage of my Swap Magic 3.6+? I know it was USB compatibility, but what is that good for anyway? Has anyone experimented with it?

Man, it's so incredibly hard to find a trustworthy site to buy these things. For every store I've looked at so far the user reviews are split 50/50 as either "best store ever" or "stay as far away as possible, stole my money, etc"

Many people who hated places like modchipstore and modchip.com said gocybershop was great. But now War says in her other thread to not shop from there

Oh God, do NOT order from gocyber. NO.

Let me tell you what happened. I ordered SWAP MAGIC V 3.6 and a FLIP TOP for my PS2 Fat.

They are have a base in California, I ordered it to be delivered to Vegas, and it took 8 DAYS. That's a huge amount of time for a place so close.

Not only that, but when it arrived, I got SM v3.6 PLUS, which isn't really a bad thing, but it's not what I payed for. The discs where just randomly tossed in the box that the products came with. They came in a cheap CD sleeve.

The Flip Top came inside a cheap plastic bag. Since there was no padding whatsoever, sometime during the delivery, one of the flip top hinges BROKE. Also, it's supposed to have an extra screw for holding the reset and eject buttons steady. Mine came with no screw.

So...you decide. :\ I definitely wouldn't trust them at all. Oh, and did I mention shipping was 12 dollars?

Most agree dvd rws are not good for your laser , why do you seem obsessed with using them. It's not like dvd-/+r are expensive.
Also swap magic has nothing to do with whether the ps2 can play the rw. Swap magic just boots the disc , if the laser is weak or just doesn't like them , then rw will be no go.
