ROM Hack Wonderful 101 any way to import Wii U or Steam save file?

I tried copying my steam save file to my switch, replacing the save I made with Checkpoint but the game doesn't even recognize it.
There's a small update for TW101 for switch, I'm not sure if the Steam version has been updated yet. I wonder if that makes a difference?

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
