SNES Online (NSO) Importing Saves

Hi, I am wondering if it's possible to import old SNES files into the SNES Online within the Switch?. I have a zst file for Link To The Past & it's a master starter save. I understand I may need to resave that particular file to another file type. JUst wanting to know if it's possible to import that save onto my Switch?

Yes, you can but it need to be converted to .srm and rename as .sram.

1) Backup your save and delete the save
2) Run Zelda game to generate the save.
3) Export save via JKSV.
4) Put SD card on computer, you will find a number ID for game.
5) After convert your save to .srm and just rename as .sram, so put in save folder.

I lost my record that contain game number ID.

Which games? Game Boy (and Game Boy Color) games require you to use conversion tool.

Some GB games have no saves and a lot of NES games have no save too. Some SNES games have no saves.

N64 needs EEP to be renamed to sram. If not EEP, you would need external conversion to get EEP.

Most GBA saves can be renamed to sram. Same goes with SNES and NES.

Save size matters - if sram save say 32K and you have to find one that is 32K.

I really didn't know all of that, thanks for being specific on your answer. I have a Tetris Rosy Retrospection DX hack save file with a really high score I'm proud of, lol. I wish I could transfer to my NSO, but I don't think it will be possible. Thanks anyway.

i figured out how to get the save for GBC to work on NSO. all you really need to do is create a save from NSO, use the savefileconverter website, and use the save you made on the swtich as that "example file" they ask for, do everything else like normal.

you win sir, this was exactly the comment that I needed to see lol. I figured it might be as simple as that, but everything else I've read online was either so vague or just flat out wrong information so I never bothered to try
