Its well known the video output on the Wii U isn't that great. I've spoken on it before as have others at considerable length. Its been a while but IIRC there was an idea floated that involved editing/reflashing the video processing chip or cafe2wii to get rid of the improper scaling and filters they used. Its already been overclocked which is a great development:

Now all that remains is the graphics with the chopped pixels and overscan plus filter. Similar was done on the Vita as the original PSP output was super blurry but now is really crisp thanks to modders. Just thought I'd ask as its been a while since this has been bought up and it appears the Wii U is having somewhat of a well desereved renaissance at the moment.
