How did you do it? I use wireless internet but someone that uses wired may find your solution useful.
USB loader and wired internet is perfectly possible ... you put the USB HDD in one USB port and the Wii LAN adaptor in the other.
It even works through a hub as in my setup; USB HDD in one port, hub connected to the LAN adaptor and Mic in the other. Everything all works fine,
