Hacking Wiping previous owner stuff off without updating

Hello everyone,

I bought a switch on eBay Serial no XAJ1001, checked and saw that I will be able to run custom firmware, OFW is 6.1.0 I am stuck as I want to restore the device to factory settings and wipe the previous owners stuff off and lid mine however I do not want to update to 7.0.0 as I want to run custom firmware.

Any ideas?

You do not need to update to 7.0.0 in order to format the system and return it to factory settings.

Go to maintenance menu (hold vol up and down on boot) and format it that way. Or get choidujourNX and use it format feature.
