Do I need to make a video of this?

  • I need to see video proof before installing this game!

  • I already downloaded the game to my 3DS.

  • Yes, please make a video.

  • No, don't bother.

Hmm, I installed version 1.1's CIA onto my N3DS and it runs really well! The music isn't playing, and I am absolutely certain I downloaded the BGM-version.
Btw, I installed the 100 Mb 1.1 CIA with sounds, But I don't have any sound, it's normal?
Have you done a dump of your DSP firmware? AFAIK, this project utilizes ndsp

I threw together a video showing some gameplay if you want one for the first post. No sound on the BGM build like @Asia81 but it shows the game relatively well ^^

Edit: lol only just read you needed the DSP firmware thingy. That really should be mentioned somewhere on the post or Github Readme.

Tagging @RedHat to resolve this problem. If it uses ndsp, this should be mentioned in the first post alongside with this
You are absolutely correct about that, sorry! I thought the CIA version "just worked", and it was the 3dsx version that required the ndsp firmware. So to everyone that is having sound problems, yes, go ahead and dump that firmware. If there is any way to make this easier for everyone to play sound without changing to csnd, I'd be glad to implement it.

Is that a capture card? That's awesome! It's too bad you didn't have audio working when you recorded it though. Is it possible if you can check to see if the ndsp firmware fixes that for you?

the dsp thing fixed the audio for me, thanks to @SomeGamer for sent me the file needed
Phew!
btw, it's not ndsp, but just dsp
forget the n :)
I always thought it was ndsp because of:
Code:
#define NDSP_THREAD_STACK_SIZE 0x1000
ndspInit();
ndspSetOutputMode(NDSP_OUTPUT_STEREO);
ndspExit();
and https://github.com/smealum/ctrulib/tree/master/libctru/source/ndsp and https://github.com/smealum/ctrulib/blob/master/libctru/include/3ds/ndsp/ndsp.h in general

Last edited by RedHat,
but I see always dsp :/
DSP firmware, dsp dumper, etc... :/

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

the file itself is also dsp
