This looks great! Arguably the best looking port of a major game I've seen so far in the Homebrew scene.

Okay, i'm going to explain once and for all for why this is a total sham, and how it's not technically feasible, even from from a gameplay standpoint. Hopefully this will finally let the thread die in peace.

First of all, he says he is using "OpenRCT2 as a guide". OpenRCT2 isn't even complete yet, it still depends on the original RCT2 to run, because not all the functions of game are implemented yet. So either he can time travel, completely finish the OpenRCT2 project, or is lying. Here's the OpenRCT2 readme if you want to read up on this for yourself:
As of 9th September 2015, a vast set of improvements have been added such as improved UI, tools, cheats, localisation and configuration. The entire window system and UI has been implemented, all file format handling such as loading and saving of parks, graphics and tracks, ride logic, game management (e.g. peep generation, awards, cash out) and a lot of the peep logic. What remains is a lot of code to draw the map, the rest of the peep logic, and the entirety of vehicle logic. The rest are small parts around different areas that aren't particularly significant. More information can be found in changes to original game.
What's even better is this is the only "feature" described in the screenshot.

Gameplay wise, how would it work? You have such little screenspace, it would be a pain if you weren't on a 3ds XL to play the actual game. I don't even want to imagine opening even a coaster window on that small of a screen. The game is also mostly mouse-based, so the gameplay would be as slow as balls, even with a circle pad.

So please, let the thread finally die because there is no more point. The dream is dead. As someone said eariler, a easier port would be OpenTTD because at least that is complete.

Well, and the actuall RCT game for 3DS? it's this bad? haha

(ok, no WOW 3D RCT attracted me .. the 1st and 2nd really had style xp when it becomes full 3Dlooked "too much" for me haha the only interesting thing could be watching like inside the roler coaster :B lol
Tho OpenTTD would even be better (and there's already a DS port).
where? õ3o

The gameplay video earlier in the thread shows pretty well how the controls would work, they look very interesting. Also, he said he was only using OpenRCT2 as a guide for the creation of his own code from scratch. But I agree, the dream certainly seems dead.

Edit: Seems like the gameplay footage has been removed actually. Does anyone have a copy of the original video showing the game running for a couple minutes on the 3DS?
