so i should apply this to 1.2 update .cia

what about the game? is my currently installed .cia (mhx with v9) alright?
or should i install a vanila mhx.cia?

yes, that's all. it has to be a patched 1.2 update ofc.

Nope. You need to decrypt a 1.2 Regionfree Update-Patch, include the files, encrypt them again and THEN install it as a .cia

I want to learn to do this! But decrypting and getting a "region free patched 1.2 update" bla bla seems kind of confusing xD if they provide the "region free patched 1.2 update" I guess I can do everything Mr. Dasding just said before to do it myself XD

Yeah I noticed that tutorial and I am reading it as we chat. But the "Region Free Patched 1.2 Update.cia" file is the one I am missing xD

Sorry, can you link it to me in private? I tried to download and install one of the patched .cias that was there, but it still has some errors in the menus.

Now I wonder if I could install the patch with the 1.2 update as a cia and then user NTR with the game cartridge

NTR had problems with mhx before, nearly everything built didn't work. I guess we were kinda lucky that layeredfs worked before.
