So basically once 10.4 is released, we're back to square one with an increasing amount of people over time being stuck above 10.3 asking when new exploits will come out to let them pirate?

I hope they're confident and they actually have more vulnerabilities in mind and more exploits to release for /much/ later.

Such is the cat and mouse nature of homebrew and hacking, I suppose. The nice thing about it though, is pretty much every 3DS made up to this point is vulnerable to one or more of the exploits, so it's not hard to get your hands on one (and probably many more for the next how many months, considering we're still not seeing 3DSes being sold on 10.1 even).

Yeah true, anyone can go ahead and get a 3DS if they don't already have one, or prepare their current 3DS for the future, while when the <=9.2 exploit was released, it was already too late for most people.

So to clarify, Smea said somewhere on his Twitter that he wasn't against piracy, he just doesn't support it/care about it. (If someone could comfirm that, that would be great )
