try using NUSspli. it will download and install on the system itself iirc. I've never used it though, just know of it.

I give up and used parallels on my Mac (worked fine)

NUSspli was ridiculously slow for me but give it a shot

Thanks. I may need to just run a VM as well. Glad to hear it works OK that way!

here's that app. I'm not on linux to verify what works or not from that perspective. https://gbatemp.net/threads/nusspli...nintendo-update-servers-to-your-wii-u.566055/

Thanks for this. I'd much rather keep these operations on a computer, so I'll probably just have to put Win 7 on a VM or something, but it's cool to see this other option. Thanks!

you can try with either FunKiiU (https://github.com/llakssz/FunKiiU) or JNUSTool (https://github.com/Maschell/JNUSTool), both dont need windows

Thank you very much. I prefer to avoid Java but I will have a very close look at the Python one. Thanks again!

Edit: I've been playing around with FunKiiU and so far it has worked quite well. The documentation is slightly nebulous, and that coupled with my very noobish understanding of Wii U homebrew so far (I'm just getting started) adds up to some questions about whether I'm doing it right, but it definitely seems to work. Thanks again for pointing it out!
