Windows logo planted on upcoming Apple Store in Germany

A quick watch of the above video might have you believing that's the site of a Microsoft Store being constructed; actually, it's an Apple Store. Yesterday, in the Jungfernstieg section of Hamburg, Germany, a group going by the name of ".WAV Collective" apparently vandalized the soon-to-be Apple retail location. They casually went up to the building posing as a team of construction workers, cordoned off a work site, and proceeded to screw pre-made panels, forming a Windows logo, to the side of the store's black veil -- all in broad daylight. Looks like the old question of Mac vs. PC just got a bit more confusing over in Europe. Don't believe us? Have a look at the collective's own video recap of the events posted after the break.[/p]

On some German boards I have seen it rumoured that this was done by Hamburger Kino Kabarett as a film project. You had 48 hours to create a short film. I have no idea if this is true or not. Regardless the video made me laugh.

Except that the Mac OS sucks for nearly everything. I've never understood the love for those overpriced contraptions.

Also I'm perplexed as to why someone would register just to post that. Or why on earth this MLP fad hasn't gotten old.

With all the Linux's, Apple's, Androids, iOS' in the world combined; Windows still dominating competition nine-to-one.
Even if its not trolling, statistically speaking, 9 out of every 10 people who even reads this are reading it from a Windows OS.

And I didn't make a 2nd account. This is my 1st. And I didn't make it just to post here. I made/reserved the email [email protected]. And I like seeing my accounts match my email.

And anyone who watches MLP would know why it hasn't died yet, because it makes every thread twenty percent cooler in ten seconds flat.

Not getting viruses on Windows is the easiest thing ever. If you think you need the extra layer of protection, there is more than one, easy to use anti-virus that gets the job done fine. Mac viruses are also on the rise. Browsing stupidly on Macs won't be safe forever.

Don't ever compare Linux to a Mac OS. In Linux, you have full control over pretty much everything. Let's look at Snow Leopard: it pretty much holds your hand through everything. It is a fairly terrible OS overall, but Apple makes it pretty, so people attracted to shiny objects instantly love it. The OS's are absolutely nothing alike.

Windows freezes are generally the fault of the user in some way shape or form. More often then not, it isn't a hardware failure of the PC or anything of the like. I personally never get freezes unless I REALLY screw up on my 7 year old machine.

Don't say its virus-proof. Even Apple has it's flaws, also Windows has still more popularity that's because there are more viruses. And it looks you download many fake Keygens on Windows, without any virus protection at all. And please, check your grammar...

Oh, and for the freezing: Try another virus that is compatible. Oh, and ever checked out Ubuntu? Try it, with VirtualBox installed on Ubuntu. Also, on a Mac, you don't have full-control over anything... Software for kids with bad spelling.

well okey then i sure have some antivirusses and i always use my laptop with windows vista as my hackers toy so yes its my own fault and i have linux ubuntu on my second laptop

And for others a dual or triple boot system is a must. Most of the time I'm happy with any OS but for some things Linux has the best tools, others Windows does. And in some cases Dos FTW still. I haven't a clue where OSX is useful but I'm sure someone can point it out. I know it's popular with artists but the same programmes are available on Windows, and quite often, Linux as well.
