I have a laptop which very occasionally when I try to start from sleep mode the screen doesn't turn on, fortunately I have found that logging in and pressing ctrl + alt +delete will put ti back on.

Any solutions to this nuisance?

You could disable hibernate.
Run command prompt and type...
powercfg -h off

It should disable it.

Or you could go to Control Panel (All Items View), click on power options, then click on advanced power settings and modify the time limit and other options, such as password login afterward.

As for a solution to what? Pressing ctrl + alt +delete to wake it up or it going to hibernate/sleep occasionally?
Sleep mode usually takes awhile to get out of, but then I have a low-end computer from 2005. :/
