Do PH and ST count as 3D games? I always considered them to be 2D games.

Anyway, my favorite thing about OoT is the pick-up-and-play aspect... There's not many tutorials, etc. You just start with a couple cutscenes, and get straight into the gameplay. It's straight forward and fun, and the 3DS version further enhances the "pick up and play" aspect, which is really nice.

PH and ST are very similar to Wind Waker, but with a different vision angle.

Also, for me OOT is far better than MM.
The whole 3 days concept, in my opinion, do not suit well on Zelda franchise.
For me, the charm of Zelda franchise is exploring different places, taking your time.

I didn't get the chance to own a Gamecube, my computer isn't powerful enough to run Dolphin properly and I can't use my Wii since I don't have a working controller and a memory card and I don't want to go through the hassle of finding good ones on eBay or whatever, so very excited about this! ^_^ I have really wanted to play this game for a long time! Not to mention that at least it will keep me busy till some new info on the new LoZ ^_^

This game looks amazing, I absolutely can't wait. I've played the Gamecube version ages ago, but this'll make me play it again. I'm so stoked.

Edit: I never really noticed how good it looks though. Those side by side screens. Wow. Blew me away.

i don't see why most peeps hate this game it's got a huge ocean to explore, treasure hunting, a ghost ship, ship to ship cannon battles (later) and more. this will prob be the game that makes me get a wiiu.

I remember I played the gamecube demo and I kept getting headaches.

I can't play these types of games because I get motion sickness from em'.

I hope they make deciphering charts cheaper...
Fuggin' Tingle...
That really irritated me, too. On top of roaming everywhere for triforce charts and pieces, you had to grind for rupees just to pay tingle for the interpretation of the chart. And even if you had a LOT of rupees (I've always been good with saving my rupees and not using them except on necessary items), you still find that point where you have to start grinding for rupees during the triorce piece quest. -_-

I never minded the sailing as a kid...
I actually really enjoyed it. People always complain about how sailing was such a hassle but I remember as a kid I'd just blast the sailing music and play around with the screen and shot shit with m'cannon and it was really cool. And honestly I didn't think it was TOO much sailing if you knew where you were going. The only time I got sick of sailing was during the second quest and I was trying to fill up my entire chart.

I mean c'mon, guys, this is epic as hell.

Edit: On that note... I wonder if they're gonna tweak with the music. And if so how much? D:

I love the sailing, too. One of my favorite parts of the game.

Why do I feel that should be followed with a "...said no one ever" line?

The sailing was a little waring on me personally, but I loved the dungeon design and art direction. Can't wait to see more of what comes from this.

I srsly don't know what VMM is saying. When Zelda fans say 3D games we expect them to mean OoT, MM, WW, TP and SS,
(I'm pretty sure you know the acronyms.) XD
PH and ST are 2.5D games in this case. XD

I agree. PH and ST have 3D polygons, but they still play from a top-down 2D perspective, just like Zelda 1, aLttP, etc. It's kind of like Sonic 4: Ep 2. It has 3D graphics, but it's still a 2D game.

Windwaker is truly awesome, but they look fine how they are. I would have much rather wanted to see toon link in a new zelda game.
