I've got to agree with xwachtmanx here: this setup sucks*. Playing or watching television forces your upper body in a way different position than your lower body (or worse: just your neck), which is plain bad ergonomics (also: as is said). Unless the television in your house is considered one of these things that plays random images and sound in the background, I would seriously urge moving it if anyone in the house spends an average of an hour (or more) watching the thing.

*note: I'm in the middle of a move myself. As a result, I'm constantly measuring rooms and furniture to draw out the ideal solution on paper. This wouldn't come close to considering something similar.

Well the neck doesn't have to be turned that much to be honest. The top couch we don't even really use.

lol I agree and that's why the mote keeps desynced it has no direct line of sight to the receiver.

Nah, like I said I didn't play it when it was like that. When I move the couch in front of the TV, I kept having to hit the down button or whatever, and it got annoying. I'm not the biggest fan of the motion controls in the game. I won't lie, they work and I can see how or why people like it, but not me.

well most nearly all of the games that use it did it wrong including nintys games...except the prime games they fucking nailed it!

Actually the Prime games worked flawlessly for me, Galaxy games did as well. Those types of games where it's just simple pointing and not having to be perfect swinging like Skyward Sword.

I'm really considering a WiiU now.
I just mean all games look gorgious (not that I'm a really graphics addict anyway) and there are some great upcoming games.
Going to wait for a while until prices go down and sell my wii so I can get it for a real fair price, but I'll definitely get it.
I have to admit I was sceptical about the WiiU at first, since I rarely use my wii anymore unless there are friends over.
But how can I say no to great Nintendo quality, PS360 worthy games  ?
I'm really pleased to see the WiiU exceeds my expectations.

I'm a bit confused about the release of this.
Wind Waker was great, but I seriously don't see the need to spend so much time converting all these images and such to HD.

I'd rather they focus all their energy on the new Legend of Zelda. Not a remake of an old.

What do you mean desynced?

I've put like 50 hours (or close to it) into the game so far with two different wiimotes, and never had it randomly desychronize on me...
I mean that nearly every 30 seconds, I had to hit down on the DPad and resync it. Or center it and all that crap.
Once I learned how to play it right, I haven't had that problem, but yeah... doesn't allow me to play the way I want. xD
(Don't get me wrong, though. I loved Skyward Sword and the motion controls.)

I'm so happy! :D I'm looking forwards to listening to the best in-game The Legend of Zelda theme song again. Hopefully they'll beef it up even more for the Wii U version.

what is the best in-game song ?

I meant the best version of The Legend of Zelda theme which first appeared in the first game back in the 80s.
But if you want to know which in-game song I like best all in all? I can't really decide, it's probably one of the ending themes. Else Gerudo Valley has a warm place in my heart.

I had to redownload the Wind Waker soundtrack just because ot his thread

Not for Skyward Sword. Wii motion plus games didn't need to be aimed at the receiver, since they relied only on the gyros, etc built into the Wiimotion plus itself. Only regular Wii games that used the pointer (like Metroid Prime Trilogy) needed to be aimed at the receiver.
