Hacking Will the Wii Classic controller work for the Twilight Princess

Hello,
I'm just about to purchase a Wii and was wondering if the Wii classic controller will work for the Twilight Princess hack. I no longer have a Gamecube controller

Sorry if this question has been answered before, I was not able to find it using the search option.

I didnt even know you could play with gamecube controller. I always used the nunchuck combo. I dont recall anything about the classic controller being able to play it. Try it out if you already have it.

And you have to get the Wii Twilight Princess not the GC version

Well... I installed "Twilight Princess hack" with my wii-mote... Using Wii version of the game. And about playing, you can't play Wii version with GC controller, and I don't think that you will be able to do it with classic controller.

thats why i think he's talking about the gamecube version... i wonder myself too...

a gamecube game ---> wii = OK
gamecube games ---> Controllers---> one of the 4 plugins on the wii = OK
Plugins---> made for gamecube controllers (= gamecube games will seek to the plugins for controllers)
Classic Controller---> fits plugin---> will gamecube games detect classic controller plugin ?

Sorry I was under the impression that I would need to use the gamecube controller to install homebrew via Twilight Princess.
