Hacking Will the AK2i ever run DSi mode?

If they were able to update it to get around the update then would they be able to run DSi games or atleast DSi hybrid DS games?

It will probably not be known until a DSi exclusive game is released. The best done so far is being able to hack a savegame exploit in the early DS/i hybrid carts. Not much else can be said as I understand.

doesnt the new akaio update have one particular feature where if your using a DSi it will automaticly detect it to disable the gba icon? if its true then there is a high probability that it is posible to run acekard2i in DSi. unless its hardware that causes games to be loaded as DSi games.

im not a master mind at hacking but hopefully theres a ray of hope in my theory.

something to do with a power register (or some shit) allows the software to test with type of ds it is running on. it has nothing to do with nds/dsi modes.

I suspect we will never see a DSi specific Slot 1 cartridge.

If there were one, people could easily dump it and disassemble to code in it to learn how to access the DSi specific hardware.

Keeping it restricted to DSi Ware, which is only available by downloading, keeps us from being able to look at the code.

We Will See One. They've already announced one for the USA, Plus there are ones for EUR and JAP coming out. The one for the USA is called System Flaw.
