Sorry for being THAT guy... but are you using PM64 injected into DK64, with a custom ini, or is it one of the inis nintendo left us by accident?

I also noticed that on the compatibility wiki there are a LOT of entries saying they used PM64 as the host, I therefore assume legit PM64 dump VC is now now out in the wild?

I use the DK64 as the base and inject PM64 into that and I use the ini made for the USA paper mario by nintendo. there is a JAP and PAL version ini which I accidently used at first those 2 would cause this not to boot.

hello, I'm trying to inject a snes .smc file, but every time I try I get the error that it cannot connect to the ip:Port. I know my ip is correct (honestly have no idea about the port, but I'm assuming that is correct too) and to press any key to escape.

Hey, I wanted to contribute to DS VC inject compatibility list but I have some questions.

1. When asked for the region, do I have to type in the region of the base game, the injected game, or the console region?
2. I'm using Nds2WiiU to inject my games. What should I write at "Injected into"?

The region is that of the injected game.
And simply put NDS2WiiU in the Base ROM.

You should try out NDS2VC, it got released a few days ago and it uses the latest release of Phantom Hourglass as the base.

Oh okay. Thanks for the quick reply! And I'll check it out :)

Would it be a good idea to have a seperate list for rom hacks or patched games compatibility?

I'm curious to know since some rom hacks do mods that exceed the original games programming like the mmc memory mappers or just adding save feature that I wonder would work well in vc emulation.

FF4 DS worked fine for me using NDS2wiiu(got up to mist dragon, looks great with renderscale on). I'm not sure what base that uses. Using the loadiine nightly that added hid support on system menu 5.5.1. Have you been playing around in configuration_cafe.json?

I'll try the nds2wiiu. I used a different program that i found recently on the forum nds2vc which may be why.
