I have, but even SA-1 (Super Mario RPG), Cx4 (Mega Man X2 and X3), S-DD1 (Star Ocean) work...heck, none of the games with enhancement chips work via injection, so yes, I've tried Star Fox, but the fact other games with the chips don't work is baffling. Who know how Nintendo coded their emulators, I don't know how until there's some way we can dump and extract Wii U VC wad files.

Have you tried injecting Star Fox or Yoshi's Island into one of those games? I know that SMRPG is in fact an eShop game, so maybe that's why? Try using the title ID of that (if you haven't already)

Edit: Heh, reading is a thing I could possibly do. Although it's still interesting that SMRPG works and it's already a Virtual Console game, I feel like that has a lot to do with it

Have you tried injecting Star Fox or Yoshi's Island into one of those games? I know that SMRPG is in fact an eShop game, so maybe that's why? Try using the title ID of that (if you haven't already)

Didn't think about that, actually, how would I change the title ID though, though the hex editor as well? I have tried Star Fox and Yoshi's Island, but neither they or any games with enhancement chips (Cx4, SA-1, DSP-1, SuperFX, etc) work at all, and I'm not entirely sure why. Could you explain on how I use the title ID, like changing the header to read the eShop game instead?

Run the webkit exploit, then GeckoLoader, load a VC game, open VC menu, drop ROM into snesinjector.exe, reset VC.

Which is on the eShop, I know, but so does Kirby's Dream Land 3 and Super Star, but injecting them doesn't work, neither does using said SA-1 games as a base. Cx4 games don't work via injection either, so I don't know what makes some games work and others fail, that's what we're trying to narrow down. That's why we're editing the ROM headers to see what can be done, what shouldn't be done, and so on.

Right, and I can't figure out what Nintendo did, so the next step is swapping the offending ROMs with a header whose game works, and that's both DKC and Super Metroid, which I've had success with thank goodness, so Nintendo perhaps did something similar.

That, I don't know...VC dumps? AFAIK, that hasn't been done yet, unless I missed something. What packages are you talking about?

I mean take the rom from the VC package you are using to inject, remove the header and compare the ROM to an actual cart dump of the same game.

I don't know how you would do that though, there's no way to do that for the Wii U as far as I know, unless I'm wrong. Wii, yes, Wii U, no way for now. All Fix94's app does is inject the ROM into the VC, but there's no way to take the VC ROM and extract it back to the PC.

I believe that ROMs in the Virtual Console are actually wrapped in the executables, so you can't just cherry-pick them out of memory
