Homebrew WiiQuake 0.04 and mods discussion.

The Quake Wii port has improved some with Translucent water and mod support. Along with mission packs and all.
Not to mention the gun tilting feature wich is fun to mess with.
I've been having a ton of fun with it as of late.

Can't wait for multiplayer.

I've been on a Quake Kick lately since the last update, but I haven't had much luck in the one player mods search.
Anyone know of some good Quake one mods and mappacks out there to try with the Wii port?

Also anyone get that Vispatch water translucent thing working? I've had zero luck with the thing and would love to patch the main maps and the mission pack ones.

Oh and anyone else think that the Classic Pad needs to be supported too? Along with an IR turning toggle button.
I'd love to play it using my Nyko Classic pad to wiimote connector so I could control the turning and aim seperatly without the need of juggling a GCN controller and holding a button down the whole time.

So ya, any good Mods anyone knows of?

Slide quake, I've seen that somewhere but I think the downloads weren't working on the site anyway.
Quake Rally I found. However it wont work with the current version of the Wii port.
A shame too, as I love racing games.

Thats gotta be a hard one to find.

Didn't work properly, just the models and the background changed.

Malice is and has always been one of my favorites. Unfortunately it dosent seem to work on Wii Quake. It does show up in mod list and when I try to start it it just runs Quake 1 normally. Havent tried any other mods yet.

hey have any of you got the Portal Gun mod to work?
I'm really interested in making a Portal Mission Pack for quake,
but i cant get the gun to work.. I placed the file in apps/quake/ ... "Portal Gun"
it shows up on the mod selection screen, but it wont work

i tried playing this b4 but you cannot use the nunchuck the analog control does not work on it i unplugged the chuck over 10 times like it said to do still didnt work. so i deleted it.

anyone know how to add the two official mission packs and what folders to put them in to play this on wii. i have everything from my original pc when i played it and stumbled across this these last couple of weeks since the homebrew channel became a legit install.

one pack has a folder in it called hipnotic
pull out everything but the PAK0.PAK and place it in SD>apps>quake>hipnotic

one pack has a folder in it called rogue
pull out everything but the PAK0.PAK and place it in SD>apps>quake>rogue

hope it works...

PS if anyone gets the Portal Gun Mod to work please let me know how,
