Hacking wiikey2 update

most of us probably know about the wiikey2 update that gets rid of need to update with the update on disk thing but im getting my wii chipped, infact im getting it back tomorrow and i wanted to know how i can tell whether or not the update has beeen installed or if its the first firmware

i could try puting the upload on but im not sure how the place works so i hope its a PAL chip but if its not, updating firmware could brcik it, so help!

The chip will or should be set to the region of your wii.... That's a definite...
So if you have a usa wii it will be set usa....

As for the update block feature and to see what firmware on the chip just pop in the:

Wiikey 2 Update/Config Combined Disc v1.2 - 'Asgard Core'

And it will tell you what firmware or update it.....
Also will allow you to configure it... Update Blocker...

cool thanks, i wasnt sure, ill try that tomorrow, (while also downloading an iso and burning it to see if itl work before i start buying them 10 bucks a pop)
