OK, so the wiikey doesn't work with a legit copy of SSBB. However if i was to dump it and burn it on a dual layer disc, it should work?

is that specific LG drive 100% required for burning as well? What is someone dumped it with the right drive, and I wanna buy it on my pioneer drive? No work? =(

1. It requires one of these DVD drives to dump Wii games:

* LG-8164b
* LG-8163b
* LG-8162b
* LG-8161b

2. It requires a Dual Layer DVD drives reader/writer to burn SSBB (U) (the origin of the dump does not matter)

any dual layer drive will do for the burning though right?
if thats the case ill just wait till someone does a proper dump

You could dump SSBB with wiikey only first layer and you need SD adaptor to this...

1. Dump first layer with DVD Dumper (Wiikey DVD Dumper, SD Backup Utility etc. )
2. Use 'Wii/GC Raw Disc Image Dumper Ver.0.05' app to dump the second layer.
3. Create a raw image of the 2nd layer using bundled unscrambler.exe
4. Connect the two images using the command copy /b 1st.iso+2nd.iso swashx.iso
5. You should now have a 8,511,160,320 byte image.

okay..so i have a LG-8164b dvd drive..but its not reading the game..should i use a different dvd drive or is there somethin wrong with the one i have right now?

You can burn it with any DVD burner that can burn Dual Layers.
Not really, fact... When I tried burning it on my computer's burner, the videos were always freezing. I then tried buring it on my friend's computer (with his burner) and it worked like a charm. Same media, same speed. Only different computer/burner.
