Thank you @RunningSnakes I already have these Settings from the Beginning since using WiiFlow.That is why 99,99 Percent of the Games are running.:yaywii:

At last now the two Spongi Games works.:rofl2:
But not with the other cIOSes.I go back to my original Configuration and into Game Settings and change for the PAL Version the Language to GERMAN and for the NTSC Version to ENGLISH.Thats it.:D

tetsuo's platform.ini and defualt coverflow ini may be better
@fledge68 I've just compared your platform.ini with mine and I noticed that it misses a few entries, but it also adds some '#'s for multi-system plugins, which are not present in my file.

The missing entries are:
53433634=C64 (I'm using it to have Zack McKracken with Scumm along with C64 games with Frodo)
44505331=FBA_OGM
45505331=FBA_PSIKYO (maybe they are not used anymore, I'm not updated on FBA)
51305730=QUAKE (this is for @kaisersozeh 's Quake FPS, which he hasn't released yet, but it runs the main game wonderfully)

Also, in [FLOWS] I took the liberty of changing 'prboom=_coverflow' in 'prboom=pc_box. This is to have Doom and Doom 2 using their big box covers alongside with PC games.

If you think it's worth to add these changes to your platform.ini, here is an already updated version

Thanks for the info, so I removed FBA PGM and PSIKYO because there are no longer separate retroarch dols for them. Those system games seem to be included in the FBA core now. but maybe I should keep them listed just in case someone is using an older version of retroarch.

The Kaisersozeh quake and SCUMMVM C64 magics can be included as well. for others that may use them. Like I said the platform ini I posted was my own personal and may be missing some.

The '#'s are used to add comments. when wiiflow reads in the file it skips any line that starts with a #.

So I will remove my downloads and just have everyone download yours. well at least the platform ini. maybe I'll give them 2 options for the default ini.

Oh i see.

I was just thinking a separate pluginscat ini might not be a bad idea. And importing cats such as platform, release year, developer, and the genres from the database files.

This would be a dream come true. It would make WiiFlow as good as other PC game manager.
We'd be flooded by a lot of genres and subgenres though. Few years ago, I used a movie manager with a simple and great mechanism to tidy up genres. It's using an xml grouping subgenres in main genres : https://github.com/YAMJ/yamj-v2/wiki/Genres

PGM and Psikyo games can't be loaded in the main fba dol since they are too large. I once posted tests dols using virtual memory in the neogeo/cps3 thread. You'll find 2 updated cores in attachment. Not tested in wiiflow yet, perhaps there's an issue with the different memory adresses like in mame2003 cores.

Go into settings then startup settings and set sd only to off or no. Then exit and reboot wiiflow.

i just realized your problem with flows. the wf5 v5.2.0 download contains an outdated platform.ini and default.ini for coverflow.

note: these are my personal ones i'm currently using. but they are not finished or complete. some things may be missing. but at least they are a start and updated from what you get in v5.2.0 download.

tetsuo's platform.ini and defualt coverflow ini may be better.

also the carbonik abz theme coverflow is not updated either. so it won't work correctly for flows either. unless you use the default.ini coverflow.

I updated the OP (Opening Post) of this thread with the info. read the Download section.
basically if you have v5.2.0 you need to download v5.3.0 beta 8 and replace those files.
then download tetsuo shima's platform ini and coverflow default ini and put them in the correct folders.
after that everything should work fine.

as for a custom banner for all games of a plugin. no you can not have it that way. each game has to have its own custom banner.
but i do plan on adding snapshots for each game via wiimpathy's database and snapshot files. so custom banners won't be necessary unless you want something fancier than just a snapshot.
 
just an update on my cps2 problems.

Short story - I downloaded retroarch-wii 7-9-2019 nightly v1.7.7 and everything works perfect. I guess the v1.7.6 cps2 core i downloaded was corrupted or broken.

I've actually got the same problem, even after downloading the nightly. The same issue seems to be affecting the Neo Geo core - including Wiimpathy's version. I can launch both from homebrew, but not through WiiFlow.

No big difference. I've used the very latest fba/retroarch code.

You mean even NeoGeo VM 0.6 isn't launching games from WiiFlow? I'm pretty sure I've tested this one too. It's often a conflicting config. and what about 0.5?

I tried to add retroarch's cannonball to my arcade flow. It works as a standalone on HBC, but when I use it as a wiiflow plugin it boots the game, then it crashes a few moments later.

the core launches a dummy file called 'cannonball.game' located in retroarch/system/cannonball/
is there a particular syntax to use for the arguments line in the plugin .ini file?

The fact that the game starts and then it crashes soon after, makes me think it's a cfg issue, but the core is from the same nightly build that I'm using. I also hex edited the .dol following @Wiimpathy 's tutorial, to save configuration in cannonbal.cfg (that's 9 letters with one 'L', like in retroarch.cfg)

TL;DR Do you have a working cannonball plugin?
