Hey @fledge68 sorry I took long getting back to you with testing.

I can confirm both Beta 2 & Beta 3 are working fine for me. From my understanding, It's 5.5.4 and 5.5.4 beta 1 which has given me the HDD detection issues. Whatever you have changed has done the trick for me :D
just to clarify ... official 5.5.4 has issues? and when you say 5.5.4 beta 1 are you referring to v5.5.4-1 release?

beta 2 and 3 come before official 5.5.4 and 5.5.4-1.
and after beta 3 there is no significant commits that should cause any issues. beta 3 is basically the same as official v.5.5.4

Sorry for my confusion there but yes. Those 2 latest versions of WiiFlow do not work for me.

Is beta 3 okay for me to stay on? Or do you recommend I go back to 5.5.3?

I am looking for some help with wiiflow. I've got it up and going with gc and wii games. My Playstation games work perfectly when ran through wiisxrx through homebrew. However in wiiflow it says no games. Would appreciate any help!

Make sure you click on the right plug-in for PlayStation inside WiiFlow

Hover over the console, click home, select plugins, link plugins to the console, click PlayStation, turn on WiiSXRX for PlayStation and BOOM

I went in and checked playatation wiisxrx and it does nothing. I go back in and it has a different playstation option marked called wiistation. I change them again and still does nothing.

I went in and marked playstation wiisxrx and it did nothing. Went back in and it had check a whole other option playstation wiistation so I unchecked that and recheck wiisxrx and it's doing the same thing.

Check your folder structure and make sure it's set up like this my friend, let me know.

Also what version of WiiSXRX are you using? I'd recommend downloading the WiiFlow 2024 Plugins pack. The best guide to modding your Wii is following this video here from Below Average Gaming

Don't miss out on NES, SNES, Genesis and everything else! The Wii is one hell of a system :D

So this was the video I followed right up to the end with the theme. I just have .bin files. I've tried adjusting a million things. I just can't seem to get the games to come up. I think the white flag is going up and I'll just load the ps1 games from wiisxrx in homebrew since they work perfectly there as is.

See my attached image below, that's what the issue is. WiiFlow does not recognise or boot .bin files for that emulator. Follow the folder paths for any future systems you plan on adding as it tells you what file types the emulator supports In WiiFlow. I suggest starting again and using Roms with a folder structure like mine, totally worth it bro. Having all your PlayStation games in one place with box art is f*cking awesome!

I just noticed that too! I went in to change to -1 (which it was 1 not 0) and saw it reads .cue not bin going to download the cues and see if that fixes it. If that doesn't however I give up lol

I've got almost 400 ps1, 450 gamecube and almost 400 wii, not sure gameboy advance going to guess somewhere around the 400 mark as well. All on a 2tb hd. My next thing is figuring out why I have to go into the path and set it everytime for gba it resets everytime I back out. Then on to the box covers. Any clues why I'd have to set the path everytime I back out of gba on wiiflow?

Thank you for being so helpful, someone else recommended I use this software also. I kept getting a (Not Responding) error and thought it was a crappy application but I tried again, just left it, and it seemed to have done the trick overnight!

BTW.. when you say 'Backup before you use' what exactly do you mean by that? Right now I am in the middle of transferring over my 128bg sd to a new 512gb and I never backed anything up before I used this showmiiwads and now I am scared
Backup of the emunand folder as this is where the wads are installed en masse! But sounds like it worked fine, nice job!

My guess Is you're selecting the path inside of the GBA section, which only does it temporarily. I guess it's for testing purposes. You need to back out into the handhelds menu, press the home button and you can link paths. So select GBA then scroll in the list, you should see the emulator that is currently selected. Click the desired emulator you want to use and uncheck the other one, then it should stay permanent :D

I guess that is a modded version like Mario Kart Revolution where you need a physical copy of the original Mario Kart? You're not allowed to discuss the location or links of ROMS on here, but I'll have a look if there's a way and let you know if its 'possible'

Is it possible/better to have emunand running off HDD? I have 700+ games running off SD and I noticed with some games I've tested they freeze when launching or after loading from menu to ingame, sometimes a long black screen. If it has better functionality off HDD, do I simply just copy my 'nands' folder from SD card to my HDD, delete if off the SD card and change path in WiiFlow to USB?

It's a modded version of smash bros brawl not mario kart. I wasn't sure what's allowed here what's not. Thank you for that info! If you do find anything on that please let me know

Yeah I gathered that one 🤣 but I guess it works in the same aspect like Mario Kart? I’ll have a look into it mate and I’ll let you know.

Did you sort out the GBA situation?

I guess I'm confused what you mean by that with mario kart. No fix yet with gba going to check again once home.
https://chadsoft.co.uk/

There's a modded ^ version of Mario Kart called Mario CGPT that has 150 + custom new tracks that are playable online with wiimmfi.

I've done some research, to play the latest version of Mario Kart CGPT (1.3) you HAVE to have the Mario Kart Disc in order to play it.

Now Super Smash Bro's Project M Ex Remix on the other hand, you don't have to have the Original Smash Bro's disc, you will need USB Loader and Super Smash Bro's on your hard drive (wbfs format as done by WiiBackUpManager)

Follow this tutorial here

Is project m the same as super smash bros universe tho?
I have no idea, I've never really played any of them. If you watch that tutorial I linked, he shows gameplay at the end. The character list is insane!

I went off this Reddit Post.

Apparently this Smash Bros Universe is very buggy.
