Hacking WiiFlow Lite

Hi, im having issues loading metroid prime from metroid prime trilogy on wiiflow in particular. Whenever I try loading metroid prime, it just boots me back to the wiiflow menu.For context, the game works perfectly fine running from usbloader gx, and other games work perfectly fine running from wiiflow.

so i just test metroid prime trilogy, all 3 games. it loads and plays and so do all 3 games. with v5.5.3 and my v5.5.4 beta's.

so i guess we need more info.
wii or wii u vwii?
is the game on sd or usb hdd or usb stick/flash drive?
is your system pal or ntsc?
is your game pal or ntsc?
are you using emunand for your gamesaves?
have you enabled any cheats or video settings?
how do you boot wiiflow? via priiloader? via HBC? via official forwarder channel?
can you post a syscheck?

Im playing on Wii, game is on hdd, system and game is ntsc, im not using emunand for saves or anything, no cheats either. The only video settings I have other than default is to remove deflicker. Im booting wiiflow via official forwarder. Here is my syscheck:

Hey there. I use Wiiflow with my vWii and I was wondering if you guys are working on the deflicker option that USB Loader GX has revolutionalized. I love using your app and prefer to use it. But USB Loader has games looking too good, especially partnered with Aroma and evWii. Is there any work being done on this? Thanks for such a great program.

deflicker option was added a long time ago. check out this post to get the latest beta version of wiiflow lite. make sure to follow what it says about backup you wiiflow/settings folder.

edit: i see deflicker options were add way back in September 2021 for v5.5.0. are you talking about the framebuffer option? that is added in the v5.5.4 beta.

I recently decided to upgrade from d2x-cios v10beta52 to v11beta1. IOS mapping is as described in https://wii.guide/cios.html.

Any installed homebrew but WiiFlow works fine. WiFlow 5.5.3 just starts, displays for 1 second the animation and then shows black screen with freezed console. I did activate the SD-Card logging in wiiflow_lite.ini, but not a single line is logged. The output is probably not flushed.

Have you tried backing up your existing configs and then performing a fresh install of v5.5.3 or v5.5.4 (BETA)? And you could remove the WiiFlow NAND save for good measure.

The issue shouldn't be caused by the cIOS, since none of the USB or SD code has changed in a way that'd impact compatibility at all. And like you said, all other homebrew works fine.

EDIT: This issue was resolved. It was caused by ukigh4ie not using the official d2x v11 installer.

Game title color is in the coverflow ini not the theme ini. Hope this helps.
