I have WiiFlow Lite up and running, minus getting MAME to work with it, and decided I wanted to focus on visuals so I dowloaded the box covers from https://gbatemp.net/threads/cover-collections-for-emulators-with-cover-support.324714/ and https://gbatemp.net/threads/cover-collections-part-2.559649/ plus the plugins and all of Wiimpathys files regarding snapshots, cart disk, and plugin data from https://gbatemp.net/threads/wiiflow-lite.422685/. Load up WiiFlow after placing everything in the proper locations and all of Wiimpathys files work properly but box covers do not. I used FuzzyRename to change the box covers to match the ROMS and now the box covers work but none of snapshots, cart disk, or plugin data for each game work. Is there a way to get it al working? Which file links them all together? What am I missing here?

Also the background images changed to generic Wii backgrounds as well as the Will cover art on the covers that are missing.

I figured it out, I replaced the platform.ini file with the outdated one in Wiimpathys plugin data.

Hey question on wiiflow, I have my cover art like this in folder: Wiiflow/boxart/nintendo/nes and like that for each system to have them organized but they don’t show any cover art and crept my GameCube and Wii as it gets downloaded from app… any tips. I used fatmatch to have roms match cover names in bulk. So names match covers 100% or should. Seems like all the other data shows up just the covers.

Wiiflow plugins (i.e., not Wii or Gamecube) look in wiiflow\boxcovers\ for the folder defined in their plugin.ini. For example, I use NES_fceumm_RA-HEXAECO.ini, which specifies "nes", or wiiflow\boxcovers\nes

Wiiflow will display the cover for a NES rom, provided it's in that specified folder and has the identical file name as the rom, with .png added.

For example, for the game "Adventures of Lolo (U) [!].zip"

the cover image must be "Adventures of Lolo (U) [!].zip.png"

Remember to refresh cache in Wiiflow to update cover display.

Thanks so much, the name was copied exactly however it didn’t keep original extension. That’s why some of the games didn’t appear.

One other question you may be able to answer is does it always have to convert cover art every time you go to use a plug in? I expected it first time but it does each time is that normal?

Just the first time (a particular cover is converted). The actual covers displayed by wiiflow are in some kind of custom image format in the cache folder, which are generated from the originals in the boxcovers folder. You can actually clear out the boxcovers folder after they're generated if you're desperate for storage space.

Awesome thanks for the info and the tips on the space factor as well. Very good information. I appreciate the help and responses you have provided!

Hi, I don't know what I'm doing wrong? I've had a long break from the WII. I apologize if this has already been discussed. :-)
My ROMs are stored on my SD card in ROMS/Nintendo/NES. The covers are in wiiflow/boxcover/Nintendo/NES. The covers have the same name as the game. .png files. Nothing shows up even after refreshing!
I also tried the same thing in the Covers folder, and nothing shows up either.
