Now I'm interested in what the default timing is. I would've made my gif's according to what is already in use.

I fair point. I'd asked the question of Resident Genius, Mr. FIX, but I couldn't pin him down to a frame rate. There were technical issues I won't attempt to explain (but beautifully explained to me by the man himself)

This one is kinda epic, this WiiFlow text shouldn't load up as well IMO, this cool loading circle is enough.

if Wiiflow is always displayed and just changes gamma as the current logo with the ring running fast around it, it will be a definite winner
the frame timing should be changed though to look fast and nice

I'm waiting on FIX to see if the specification is changing - which will mean extending the 'deadline' anyway - no actual rush to start the poll, and I'm off for a couple of days. If anyone want's to mod JJ's submission to FIX's spec....

Just commited everything into r609, I used jj's animation now, looking silimar to abz mod, just not as broken as this gif I hope you guys can live with my choice, I dont wanted to change the style too much.

Anyway everybody can still use their own logos too given there's a tutorial around.

btw: I need detailed info about changing frame display duration (i.e. speed of animation), so that I can add this to the tutorial for the sake of completion

Many changes were introduced to video.cpp in latest rev (609)
the new logo has 8 jpg files instead of old 5 png files
continuous loop
0.2 sec delay
609 jj-mod logo 0.2 sec

this is a corrupted preview, WiiFlow in actual logo is decent and doesn't move

I guess no one got to vote then due to dev's intervention on picking his personal entry?, even though many dont seem to like it.

Doesn't seem far to have such a thread if the former has happened, i for one think Spayrosam's should have been picked as more users liked it over other entries

Pepxl, abz created a thread for people to change the animation to the one they want, if you guys now start whining again I'll remove the whole wait message code out of wiiflow and replace it by the text "please wait...", got it?

lol do as you please, threats dont work on me sorry, i personally would add it back in so it wont bother me at all, but for other users, they may have a whine or two.

Im just speaking for the people who put their contributions across to then get swiped to the side over personal choice, why give permission to my such a thread?, people haven't even been able to cast votes for the favourite to be incorporated in to WF, yet you have chosen one to use already?

WTF was the whole point in the thread if i may ask, like i say im not fussed about it as i can change mine as i please even without the need of some thread "Abz" created a few years to late.

My respect level has decreased, Mugotu/migotu is on the rise again in a different guise.

*sigh*, I gave people this thread to give users some cool new wait animations, thats why I agreed to that, even a really easy to follow guide came out so everyone can use something else. Then, I did not want to change the style too much of our current wait message, thats why I have chosen it. Also, remember I work alot to make this project even possible and do nearly every shit people want, so I hope you can kinda understand I make my own things as well. Last point, its just some stupid wait animation, about 1% of wiiflows source code, not wiiflow itself.

I understand don't get me wrong, I like what you have done with wiiflow but my point was that you gave the users a choice then took it away without notice.

I was hoping to vote as many others would have been but it seems the choice for the non code savy users has been in vain.

Like I say, what was the whole purpose to the thread.

Might as well close it now and end it.
