so, does that work with mplayerce in the apps folder or do we need to copy it to the plugins folder, too?
Needs to be in plugins folder too ofc,with the dol name used in the ini. You can change it if you want, just dont change the plugin magic :P
 
Is anybody else having problems with Black Ops and MW3 working? It tends to freeze at the loading screen everytime. It use to not do this til I had updated my WiiFlow. Any advice would help, Thanks.
Both those games need to be started with a cIOS with base 56 in order to work. If the auto IOS selection isn't working it may be because you don't have one installed.
wrong. blackops and mw3 require a base of 57 not 56

Just updated to 410 and I have the fledge syndrome.
Okami and Planet 51 stopped workin, black screen and codedump, tried both full, off and partial nand emulation emulation!

Edit: In fact nothing is working tried several Wii Games, even wiiware from EmuNand are not working (gettin failed to load ios 24X messages and other errors)

Edit2: I'm back to 407 and found out that okami don't work here too. emuNand also giving missing IOS errors.
Anyone else?

ok, after play, press home to return to the Wii menu

Fledge how about change menu_startup.cpp to have rendered buttons as

texture_normal=
texture_selected=

instead of the current

texture_center=
texture_center_selected=
texture_left=
texture_left_selected=
texture_right=
texture_right_selected=

Makes it easier to them and the current code doesnt seam to allow user defined button sizes for some reason

Ah, now it is working nicely for SNES games with these settings:

But when I enable NES or other games whose case is not rotated those images appear rotated. When you manually have to switch views depending on which emu game type is displayed that isn't very good.

I believe what needs to happen is that WiiFlow needs to know if an emulator covers are rotated or not and if it is displaying that case art auto-rotate/override what the theme says. I believe it is just the SNES and N64 ones that should be rotated -90 degrees when showing them.

fix94/fledge - is this possible?

Also what to do about the N64 cover art? Does anyone have any graphics that are formatted the way that WiiFlow expects to load them longwise?
I think it's in the startup_menu.ini or source_menu.ini depending on your revision and you may have to add the file yourself

I think you use something like this to tell it which one to use for which button in the select source menu.
You would just set all of the n64 and SNES games to 2 and all of the Game Gear and Gameboy games to 6
Almost forgot. I want to set my WiiFlow up so it only shows regular Wii games and emu games... no NAND or Homebrew. Is there anyway to bypass those when cyclng through the game types?
I think there's something like "disable=yes" or "disable=no" in each of the sections of wiiflow.ini for each coverflow.

If reverting didn't work, try 410 again with a clean install this time.

Now that we're using mplayerce, how hard would it be to be have it play DVD's in the drive from the disk button?
(for those of us with older Wiis compatible with them.)
Actually, according to the WiiBrew site it also supports DVD ripping.

the fledge syndrome - LOL. sorry to hear that. first off i don't emu games are working for anyone. Fix94 just posted that overjoy has got working again and will post an update soon. as for the wii games - just came across lego rock band that didn't work even when i switched emu nand to off. I had to switch ios from auto to 249 base 56 for it to work which makes me think the auto ios thing isn't working. try different game settings like i have and see if that helps

@pepxl that would be a pic button like on the main wiiflow screen. I can't put text on those. can you cut your image in three sections like the buttons?

Can you explain where its gone wrong, when i copy the enties from GAME/PLAY_BTN to STARTUP/SOURCE_BTN_0 the button show up exactly as it does in the game menu but not when using other images.

hmm looks fine - wiiflow has a lot of weird qwirks. can you post a pic? or hang in there i'll see about changing them to pic buttons but will need time.

And now from the main WiiFlow game coverflow the Homebrew coverflow is no longer there.

But the NAND coverflow is there :(

Any ideas?

Also - setting up the startup_menu.ini as you indicated causes a hang in emu coverflow when you go to the settings menu... it hangs exiting the settings menu.
 
That's weird
I still have to eventually get mine set up to how I want it so I could look at it at that time and see if I have the same problem but I can't say I know when I'll have time while near my Wii.
The only thing I can see is there has to be an empty line before [NAND] but I would guess that's just from copying and pasting.

Nand emulation still not working! codedump most of time, missing IOS message sometimes,
Wii games launching better, but still okami giving a black screeen.

Hmm, when i updated to 411, my scummvm roms disappeared. Any thoughts? By the way Fix, everything I tried in Mednafen worked great!! I tried out Lynx, Neo Geo Pocket, PCE, PCE-CD, Wonderswan, PCFX, and Virtual Boy. All working and exiting properly. Nice work! Atari 2600 in our future?

...And is anyone else outta pages? I'm in desperate need of a page 3 for plugins!

One more thing.. I've got about 25 ScummVM covers done so far (work in progress), has there been a way established to get these to display properly without there bieng a rom extension? I get to the same place as the issue reported on the googlecode page, where one cover will display for all games with the .wfc cache file. I don't wanna keep working on a set that might not be able to be used.
 
I have a request - I need images of consoles for the source select menu. It will save me a lot of time from having to do a google search and then modify them with photoshop. if you have any please pack them up in a zip, rar, or 7z and send me a link where i can download them. I would prefer they be 200 x 200 or smaller and have a transparent background. Thanks.
