So the WiiFlow staff prefers to keep the development private? No more updates on google code?

correct, code will be updated when the next RC or release comes out

I could use a little bit of help. I had been running wii flow for a bit a few months ago and it was working fine. I stopped playing my Wii for a while due to other things that were going on. Went back to play it today and every time I try loading a game I get a stack dump error. So I deleted all the wiiflow files, re-downloaded them, put them back on, and loaded it up. Again I get the stack dump error.

Priiloader is booting a wiiflow forwarder. I have the games and all the wiiflow files on my HDD. There is no problem with starting wiiflow, only with loading a game. Any suggestions?

EDIT:
Now its stuck on a loading screen after I choose to play the game.

I have a conversation with waninkoko and say to me that hd lag controller problem on cios 20b and cios21 with ios56/57 are fixed on 21 with ios58, but he does a little change on code and loaders have to update to run backups under this ios to get compatibility, but only a few lines of code. "r21 under 58 run so good" textual words.

Could you update wiiflow about this to run under ios58?

Thank you.

I wrote a program to convert the WiiTDB genres to categories for Wiiflow. This is accomplished by mapping the genres to the desired categories. I included the mappings.ini file that I use for my collection.

1. Select the "titlesdump.ini" file (this is selected automatically if the drive is connected and it's in the wiiflow\settings folder)
2. Click the Update button (the mappings.ini file is loaded and applied)
3. Fix the genre-to-category mappings (as required)
4. Click the Output button to save the "categories.ini" file.

I can upload the source if anyone wants it.

New version for current Wiiflow. It no longer requires the "titlesdump.ini" file, instead it parses the wbfs folder. Only works with FAT32/NTFS drives.

Wiiflow G2C

Just wanted to say thanks for this, keep up the good work. I like to keep my games organized like this

You could load under ios58 compiling for it, but 0 backup load, need to use other ios to run backups. Code changes are required.

I am having an issue with downloading covers for WiiMC. I am only getting the flat PAL-FR version of the cover.
Also, the downloader says that it can not find any full covers.

What I am getting --> http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/cover/FR/WIMC.png
What I should be getting --> http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/cover/US/WIMC.png

Also, full covers do exist but are not being found by WiiFlow.
http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/coverfullHQ/FR/WIMC.png
http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/coverfullHQ/US/WIMC.png

Looking at wiiflow.ini and the url paths it looks like location {loc} is not be resolved correctly.
url_flat_covers_id4=http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/cover/{loc}/{gameid4}.png|http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/cover/EN/{gameid4}.png|http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/cover/other/{gameid4}.png
url_flat_covers_id6=http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/cover/{loc}/{gameid6}.png|http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/cover/EN/{gameid6}.png|http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/cover/other/{gameid6}.png
url_full_covers_id4=http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/coverfullHQ/{loc}/{gameid4}.png|http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/coverfullHQ/EN/{gameid4}.png|http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/coverfullHQ/other/{gameid4}.png|http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/coverfull/{loc}/{gameid4}.png|http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/coverfull/EN/{gameid4}.png|http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/coverfull/other/{gameid4}.png
url_full_covers_id6=http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/coverfullHQ/{loc}/{gameid6}.png|http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/coverfullHQ/EN/{gameid6}.png|http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/coverfullHQ/other/{gameid6}.png|http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/coverfull/{loc}/{gameid6}.png|http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/coverfull/EN/{gameid6}.png|http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/coverfull/other/{gameid6}.png

I tried hardcoding {loc} to be US but WiiFlow overwrote that and set it back to {loc}.
Is there a setting I am missing that sets the value of {loc}?

After full, clean installation, the latest rev. of WiiFlow seems to crash a lot at the loading-screen, like one in five times. It just stops loading, and stands still there. Anyone else experiencing these problems?
Other than that, fantastic loader with easy interface. Looking forward to the next release!

Has anyone a compiled revision from the private SVN?

Only avaliable to the Beta testers, but the latest avaliable one isn't much more stable than r304 so you're not missing much!!

are you using background music in wiiflow by putting music files in the /music folder? I have seen wiiflow crash once, as you described, after I started using music, and figured the two were related.

No I actually run a pretty clean system with no "extras" at all, and I run WiiFlow from HBC on a 4.3 black Wii. Still get the crash now and then. My harddrive is a Samsung G3 1TB, but I doubt that is a problem. Older loaders worked way more stable.

When I look on the info screen in WiiFlow, it says i run CIOS 249 rev 17 -1.

I've got a bit of a question for the developers.

Some may have noticed that lenny_kano got wiiflow running in uneek with just a few changes in the code (linky). Scooby74029 also does a good job of getting uneek (and sneekflow) up and running (another linky).

This is all very nice and dandy...but I'm kinda curious how the developers feel about this. I may be mistaken in the amount of work (or co-operation with the sneek-developers) it takes, but it sure has a lot of potential. Loading all your wiiware/VC from your sneek-emulated nand? Storing all your savegames on that same amulated nand instead of the real one? Hmm...sign me up.

...but that's of course just my opinion. Hence this question: is this going to be supported with future wiiflow versions, or will it always remain a third party modification?

Update your cIOS to r19/r20b or r21, if you need help with this come to irc

Wiiflow devs are looking into it.
