thx to ziggy34, the WiiFloWiki has some paid domains now, which will also serve as hosting for updates.
http://www.wiiflowiki.com
http://wiki.wiiflow.org
http://www.wiiflow.org also points there until I build a proper landing site.
Updates from inside the app will be served from http://updates.wiiflow.org

Also, if you use the wiki at least LOOK at the ads, if something interests you check it out. The devs dont have donate buttons atm so this is the only way we can pay for this stuff.DO NOT mass click ads as tons of clicks from the same IP in a short period of time will disable the adsense account! If you get it disabled i will find you and do something bad! (jk but DONT lol)

I have the rev. 2.0 you shared in this post from wiiflow but...for playing Prince of Persia....
.............i don´t have in game settings:

Disable DVD patch

Disable Return To

Do i have to edit the wiiflow.ini file to have these 2 options in the game settings screen?¿?

Hope you like it.

PS : obviously , it's up to date for wiiflow 2.0 rev82 (available on IRC)

Hi,

Anyone got the boxart to appear after animation and on top? I can't get it to work using the latest rev 82. Also still starts the same .ogg file on startup everytime for me.

Cheers.

@dancemonkey

To enable the cover appearing after animation add...

[general]
hide_cover=no
show_cover_after_animation=yes

...to the (3ID).ini files in the fanart folder.

To have the cover appear on top of the animation add...

[artwork(#)]
show_on_top=no

...to the (3ID).ini files in the fanart folder.

-Lee

(3ID.ini is not the name of the file, but the first three letters of the GameID)

You didnt follow directions for the new install. im pretty sure updating your themes from wiiflowiki
and deleting your wiiflow.ini and cache folder it would work. 2.0 is not so similar in code to 1.1, it needs to be a fresh install as if its a new app due to major code changes.

Check here if you are running it from SD:
http://gbatemp.net/t204106-wiiflow-an-open...t&p=2962186

This also happens to some ppl who have their partitions in the wrong order. Fat should come first if you're running from usb, and wbfs should always be the last partition on the drive if you REALLY need it. WBFS is obsolete anyways idk why ppl wanna use both fat and wbfs at the same time.

For everyone to read:
There is a search box that says "Enter Keywords" in the bottom right corner of the last post on each page which has a button that looks like this:
magnifyingglass.gif
table_footer_right.gif
.

This box is for searching the WHOLE THREAD, and ONLY THIS THREAD. Before asking questions, type some keywords in there and click the
magnifyingglass.gif
to see if your question has already been answered please.

its pretty common and not obsolete at all, many users including myself have the 2 partitions, if your have many games(70+) then its a head ache transferring the games to FAT32 once youve been using WBFS since day 1 and have inefficient room to transfer the games from WBFS to FAT32 then having to test every game to make sure then converted properly and without errors

i dont know about you but im dont feel like spending the time having to reformat and partition drives the having to wait the countless hours for the games to transfer just to use FAT32 for games when WBFS suffices for games and FAT32 suffices for homebrew that can use it

If you have 70+ games its not so hard to get them the same way your got them in the first place, whether it be pirating or retail disc. Also, using Wii Backup Manager it is not hard to transfer games from one partitiion to another. It just takes some effort.

The problem is not about the ppl who had wbfs for a long time, its about the ppl who are just getting into usb loading and ppl advise them to use wbfs, which makes absolutely NO sense. 95% of ppl making complaints about wiiflow not working right are NEW users who just softmodded not too long ago and have followed a very old guide or advice from someone who is out of touch with the latest and greatest.

Some facts:
1. Fat32 is the fastest HDD filesystem and has the least issues, and can be much more useful and reliable than even old trusty wbfs. Being able to use it to hold your apps and everything and eliminate the SD is plenty enough reason, let alone being able to see/modify/fix it directly from any operating system and not having a game count limit (wbfs issues), and not being read-only or slow(ntfs issues) .

2. cIOS 249 18+ is faster in wiiflow, BY FAR, than any cIOS222/223/224. there is nothing to debate with this as 249 18+ works with ALL file systems now. The code itself and testers have proved my statements about this. In MANY places in the code Hermes' cIOS's are hard coded to have a few second delay in order to allow them enough time for certain operations to complete. These delays add up very quickly.

3.on Fat32/Ntfs *.wbfs is faster and more reliable than using *.iso (and before anyone screams you cant have *.iso on fat32, i will explain that any scrubbed iso

most are all on retail disk bar afew that i borrowed from friends and family(could be be classed as piracy lol), i never said anything about complaints i was stating that WBFS isnt obsolete as you mentioned as all loader still support it

true that having everything on a single partition is more organized, WBFS may have a game limit but if your reach this then your obviously pirating. You cant really modify games on a FAT32 then you can WBFS because in some way there would be a conversion process to get them in a editable state(renaming/moving isnt really modifying per say). NTFS is a no go for me so i'll not go there lol

i dont see what cIOS your using has to do with WBFS vs FAT32 as a storage location but i use 249 for everything that can use it and 222/223 for problematic games

3.on Fat32/Ntfs *.wbfs is faster and more reliable than using *.iso (and before anyone screams you cant have *.iso on fat32, i will explain that any scrubbed iso
