Hmm i swear i tried that already and it didnt work, it had no cache file and stayed blank till i tried to download it and it tried to get it from wiitdb would not show my cover, ill try again though. Thanks

Also i never noticed this till the other day but im having a bug where if 2 wiimotes are synced and i start wiiflow they change p1 becomes p2 and p2 becomes p1, is this just me or anyone else noticed this?

Ok, this needs to be done to manually replace covers in wiiflow.

Front covers go in the "/wiiflow/covers" dir, for HQ use size 486x680
Full covers go in the "/wiiflow/boxcovers" dir, for HQ use size 1024x680

when replacing a cover make sure the game id is correct, the size is correct and that the cover is a PNG file
also delete the corresponding cache file in the "/wiiflow/cache" dir

On irc.freenode.org #wiiflow you can find my ftp which holds a lot off covers in the correct size, some are custom and a lot are retail (not everything is HQ, covers are by region, if there is only a HQ ntsc cover for the pal game you have, just rename the ntsc id to the correct pal id and off you go). I'm still trying to get a complete HQ retail set together for all ntsc games, but i still have a long way to go

There is a bug in R25 that when you select a game and then the play/back menu comes up.Now when this is up scroll right and left in both directions using + and - buttons on the wiiremote.After a few minutes it will cause a code dump every time.You can usually tell when its going to happen because the covers get all distored and not showing up properly.

I've tried it with both versions of R25

not for me ive never moved from R25 and ive scrolled back and forth playing banner sounds thru all the games i have 10 times oves and never had a single DSI, it could be a game you have which has a corrupt opening.bnr possibly after a faulty transfer or maybe your HDD cant keep up the pace of the constant flipping from game to game at high speeds or even a corrupt cover image or theme segment

How fast are you scrolling through the games?

I'm talking button mashing pretty + or - and then it messes up.

I did forget to mention that it did this on someone elses wii that i setup everything on and he asked me about it so when i was at his house i tried R25 222 instead and it did the same thing.

I will give it a try later tonight on my own wii and see what happens.
Will also try different themes when im doing to see if that affects anything.As far as i know none of the games or covers are corrupt but i guess they could be and i wouldnt know it.

Any Updates on this? This was my default loader for a long time, and it's sad that it's so outdated and nearly (?) dead now...would love to go back, but r28 rather seems buggy...

. Heck, I would even continue on Gitkuas awesome WiiFlow theme (it also looks dead), if a stable, updated WiiFlow get's released...

After Narolez left, i switched to CFG Loader and now, my games are on FAT32 ...
I've tried GX with FAT32, but it's to buggy - CFG works well.

I hope WiiFlow will support FAT32 soon.

FAT support would be great i agree but i guess i dont see the rush, you still have to use a pc program to "convert" iso's to your hdd and back, its no faster/doesnt save more space, your forced to use ios222, I dont see the huge deal atm, maybe NTSF getting perfected would be great but as stated above its still in early stages, Wiiflow by far has the best GUI of them all. The way its talked about here is like its usless and doesnt work anymore, but infact thats not true in the slightest lol. Dont get me wrong i would love to see some updates or even posts from devs on whats goin on but still Wiiflow remains a great piece of software

I believe Pakatus said it right, Uloader functions with wiiflow gui would be the best loader IMO, id love to save games on SD card like that too

Could the code dumps my friend was having when scrolling through all the games real fast be a cios issue at all?


I tried it on my wii and it doesn't crash at all and once i get going fast all that happens is the covers go to ? covers instead of showing the actual cover.Once i stop scrolling all covers show up again.I'm using ciosrev17 and my friends was on ciosrev16

cIOS r16 was pretty buggy for me as it completely destroyed the compatability with my external maxtor hdd.

I recommend using cIOS r17.

cIOSrev16 is known for it's bugs, so thats no surprise

I have done some fooling around today with trying to get the themes working. It is actually not that hard to get your favorite theme working with this little trick. First you need to copy and paste all this into the ini file of the theme you want, keep in in alphabetical order:
