Hey everybody! I'm currently having a problem with loading some of my newer games.

I fixed my problem. I went and reinstalled all my cIos and got everything working up to par.
I guess something went currupted and gave me problems.
I'm just posting this in case someone happens to run into the same problem in the future.

I wish I knew what causes this text issue because it affected my games severely, even english ones. i never found my answer but i assumed its IOS related. if you find out the cause let me know. i bet if you try other japanese games the text will be garbled like that too. some homebrew were affected, i think it was back when disc launching just became a reality and i was using an old software, i cannot remember the name but it was like softcorp or something similar (this is back when backup launcher gamma 0.3 was the best :p ).

so beware text issues with other stuff.

I've played a bunch of other Japanese games with no problems, must be localized to this one or copy.

I've only seen it in out-of-region games. I've heard that using *neek to load the game using the correct region firmware will fix it, but I've not tried it myself. I assume it happens when a game tries to use system font characters that don't exist in the firmware being used. Dunno why it would be in English language games though. Differences between PAL/NTSC system fonts? Mislabeled out-of-region game ISO/WAD?

bostonBC I got Ikenie No Yoru to work by installing a new save game to my e-NAND and running the game with SaveGame emulation on. Hope it helps. Game is freaky and pretty cool. If u have a Wii balance board u can walk and turn around run with it in game, really giving u that immersive esperience.

p.s. Can anyone with the HULU channel installed have a look at their nand and tell me the 4-Letter Title-ID - can't find it anywhere! MassiveRican?

FIX94 Is there any chance that we can one day look forward to per game settings for emulators? Even if we just had a folder full of config settings named for each game that could be copied and renamed, that would be great.

Well, actually there are 2 wiiflow plugins with per game settings (both in Abz's pack): Frodo with .sav support and Dosbox .conf
And for these two emus this is really a blessing!

Dcvg5k plugin

Source code

It's a vg5000 emulator. This old computer was only released in Europe(mainly in France). Not many games, and not very good. The pac-man clone (glouton) isn't so bad though.
Wibrew page with some games for the curious ones.

Just finally got a chance to play around with this, works great! Thanks for keeping up with the obscure emu plugins. Appreciate it!

Hope your doing well man.

matto21 wiiflow puo' tenere qualche cartella di appoggio su ntfs.. ma non tutto (tipo i plugins ecc sono dol e non partono da ntfs). per i giochi la ntfs e' compatibile (se parli della cartella wbfs).
a me funziona
