Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

Can anyone help me get this working? I'm using an ntfs drive with cios222v4. I can see games, but choosing them causes a code dump. with rev42. They work fine with cfg usb loader.

I'm still having this problem. Any help?

I tried the new revision, and I'm still getting the same error. Should I just revert to wbfs?

HaniKazmi, according to the codedump you posted the previous time, it's a problem with extracting opening.dol from the disc. If you could come to the IRC channel, we could try to fix this problem. Reverting to wbfs is a solution, but in that case I would advice FAT32.

Well, even with rev43 downloading covers is still not alright. It crashes and reboots the Wii for me after some Covers. No Codedump, just a sudden reboot. Hope this can be fixed...

Also I'm using the R43 222 boot.dol version and if i go into the individual game settings and try to change the ios to start the game with i always get a message about disc set wbfs failed

I also have this problem, although my setup is slightly different than icpmattj (waninkoko cios rev 17, hermes cios rev 5). For me, this makes it impossible to play Monster Hunter Tri because this game requires a cIOS with a IOS37 base. I think that this is an older bug as earlier revs of wiiflow have this problem as well.

I know that I could install waninkoko's cIOS rev 19 with an IOS37 base to fix this, but doing so would break Triiforce.

Cover download worked for me when i tried it.Downloaded 25 covers only thing i saw wrong was the blue progress bar goes back and forth as the covers are downloading.

Exactly the same problem. Turn back to R25 and it works just fine.

When compiling the latest R43 revision of Wiiflow, does it matter if the DevKitPPC is r18 or r19 as it says in the wiki or can you use the latest DevKitPPC r21?

Deleted everything from my R25 build and started from scratch with R43. So far, so good.

Covers download fine and IOS changes work.

Still have yet to test Hermes cIOS 5.1, I'm still on version 4.

the irc channel is a chat room. you need a client like mIRC to login to the server and join the room.

i want trailers too!! i just need a converter for thp format...i don't see why it couldn't have used flv or something similar.

I dunno for you, but here's what I did:

Firefox -> Chatzilla install -> /attach irc.abjects.net

Dunno how this works on your Client, but this worked for me.

That's easy. The THP format is just something like "animated jpeg". It just contains a lot of jpeg files. Since Wiiflow already can display jpeg files, it's easy to add support for THP files. FLV files however, need a decoder, which will rebuild the images. Adding a decoder is a bit more work, and since this feature is useless (IMHO), I won't be adding mplayer to wiiflow. The mplayer team knows how to handle videos, so let them handle it

Doest this usb loader work on Sneek ? I mean for launching backup on FSWB partition as it does on real patched nand (Wanin's CISO rev 19). I mean normal Sneek not +DI one.

In the top box click the server link and a new box appears
in that box type irc.abjects.net

now fill in your nickname and then for channel enter #wiiflow

r-win, thank you. I suggest you to change the address for cheats, now is "http://geckocodes.org/codes/R/%s.txt" and not "http://www.geckocodes.org/codes/R/%s.txt". With tyhis new address you can find every cheat file txt. Test with SSBB.
