I installed the cMIOSv10 you gave me and it boots from inside Wii-Flow (still not disc channel but I dont care so much about that)

Just for my own future reference where do I get the cMIOS you had?

Haha, I notcied in Neogammer in GC setting, use external / internal / MIOS. So I installed the 'Wiigator+WiiPower cMIOS-v65535(v10)' I got from ModMii and tried the booting with the MIOS setting, same deal as within WiiFlow. So the cMIOS I was originally using was never working because Neogammer was using 'internal' setting, which I assumes uses stuff from inside Neogammer to boot GC games and ignores whatever cMIOS/MIOS your system has.

I am just confused about the different cMIOS that available? Why is ModMii recommending the cMIOS that wasnt working for me?

As I said earlier my wads are the official wiigator 4 and wiipower 10 which I made using the official installers, I had problems with wiipower+wiigator 10 too.

I figured why it wouldnt boot from disc channel, I did a mulit disc copy of RE CV and it suddenly was bootable from the disc channel. I realised that 'GC MultiGame ISO creator' changes region Now I just reburn other disc to my PAL region and every thing is bootable through disc channel.

Hmm.. ok not the right thread but maybe someone here has a quick answer for me since we started setting up retroarch-wii with WF.

I've been trying to get Neo-Geo games working with RA-Wii with no success (CPS1/2 no problem as long as you have the right rom) and I always get an error message. I've checked to see if I have the right romset compatible with FBA 0.2.97.26 and went to CAESAR (Catalogue of Arcade Emulation Software - the Absolute Reference) to see if my rom's were matching up with the database and I seem to be missing some BIOS files.

I wanted to see if anyone else has the NEO-GEO roms working w/o any bios files or if it's necessary for me to get them and where to place them IF I need them?

So indeed I needed the NEO-GEO bios files and I added them to 1 zipped rom I had and it worked (I think, since it shows up on FBA PC rom list as available now). Now my question is can I just put these files in the rom directory to save space? Is there some other method to include BIOS files w/o having to add them to each individual game and still make this work?

you can place all neogeo roms in same folder as the bios "neogeo.zip" to save disk space.

edit2: It seems to take a hell of a long time to reload cache too compared to before. Added about 10 titles since r735 but should not make that much of a difference I would think.

Uhm OK, here its damn fast now compared to the old revs, for example to reload my plugin coverflow it takes not even one second and I have 222 games! How much games do you have?

37 seconds here on my 1166 game collection using r753. It seems faster but I don't have timings using older versions.

Yea, for plugins it wont change because they are not that many subfolders, that update is more for wii games, you know every wii game is in a subfolder and that was slow as hell after a few 100 games

yes it can, i have one made. though it's kinda a run around way to do it.
make an empty folder.(naming it default) put what ever you want to use a a background in the folder. then open the ini for default. an look for the texture lines in the ini, an make the ini load that background.( make a back up of the default ini an just rename it default 1.)

Well, it has been a while since I checked updates to WiiFlow and I'm pleased that there is a lot of changing going on.
Currently I'm using Wiiflow v2.2 r355 which works ok.

I have installed it quite some time ago, so I wondered if I needed to update other stuff also to get it working.
I tried, but all the games did not start (black screen). So I set my earlier Wiiflow version back.

I have saved a syscheck log, so hopefully someone can find what could be the cause.

I see you dont have d2x cIOS as main IOS, you should update to that one, wiiflow does not like r19 for some reason anymore, it cant load from fat32 or ntfs here, no idea why. Grab the d2x v8 final installer here and install 249 base 56 and 250 base 57, then the latest rev should work perfectly fine.

Well this is embarrassing but I need help. I made a new nand with modmii and copied shared2 folder over. copied saves over from real nand using wiiflow had a warning that mii channel data was corrupted. so i copied mii's with usbloader gx. basically everything works fine when i use neek2o . but when i launch wiiflow from neek2o it works and shows my games but won't launch any of them. all i get is a black screen, yet they launch fine from neek2o. I'm really scratching my head on this one. Why would they launch with neek2o and not wiiflow?

finally got back to using wiiflow! its been so long, thanks for all the work fix, its really appreciated.

i compiled 753 earlier today, did clean install (deleted cache folder and let it make its own ini). i had an issue where every time i load the channels section it code dumps, gonna try 755 and if i have time will let you know if it still has the same issue.


edit: huzzah! it seems to work fine now. i only tested one game but its not code dumping in the same spot. not sure what happened between the revs. if its helpful, the code dump happened when i switch to channels. after the first load, within a few seconds of the covers displaying it dumped. then it would reload in the plugin flow, going back and it would code dump almost instantly when entering the channels flow.

Probably because of some new MEM tweaks

you still need cert.sys in (nandroot)\sys folder.
when wii warns about corrupt mii it gets recreated automatically so no need to use gx for that.
when you gett the right setup backup your emunand and sneek folder for the hard times ahead

thanks for trying to help. I was missing cert.sys but that still didn't help. I managed to load wiixplorer from wiiflow in neek2o mode and wiixplorer wouldn't even show the usb just sd. also when i got into game settings for IOS i have two choices auto or 254. I thought 254 was bootmi and I don't even have that on my emu nand so why is 254 a choice? By the way I'm using beta 743 and here is my sd write log.

neek2o is so sensitive... luck is needed sometimes to get everything working.
You can make another trial without copying the mii stuff. try the neek rev in my megapack (it's 93b6) also try changing hacks using the di menu to enable region free.

now i dont know if there is a wiki explaing ALL option for wiiflow.ini but id love to read one. i was just wondering, when i use cfg, i have iso 'forwarders' for my wiiware games, but if i were to switch to wiiflow, how could i combine my DML/NAND/WII views iinto one? using config, the default view shows DML/WII/NAND games together, side by side.
please tell me i can achieve that effect somehow, or maybe its a feature that can easy be impemented within the configs?
any help? thanks! wifflow really brings out the best of a wii, and althoug its not as 'configurable' as CFG, every option i would need ina loader is pretty much covered.
other thing id like to do: rebind the controller somehow, or at least disable the source menu globally?

and non of my emulator save? how can i fix this or difine a save path?
when i change the video options it seems to save so im not sur if theres a config somewhere?
im using the latest beta that was posted in the thread and i cant get my scumm games to show up. i cant find any information on google either, i have the scummvm.ini in my pugins folder, is that correct? also my games work fine in scumm? thank you!
