Homebrew Wii - Wii U Nand Transfer

Basically, I'm gonna buy a Wii U from my friend and I have an original Wii that was bricked. Right before it bricked I made a NAND backup, so my question is can I install the NAND from my old Wii to the Wii U vWii

No, that'd brick the vWii NAND

Yes, there are multiple ways of doing that. Check out Wii Nand Extractor:

I wonder if using the official Wii U Transfer Tool with the NAND backup in Dolphin would work?
It would be a one-way transfer of content+licenses, and saves to the Wii U vWii.

One wiki page did mention an SD card error, so I'm unsure whether that has been solved yet.
Oh also, from what Ninte* website said, the Wii U may HAVE to be on the latest firmware (5.5.2 at the moment)
