Maybe that's why: the modded wii! I dunno if it's because of that, but mine's an unmodded wii and everything's fine.
I guess we must wait for some more people to update and give us some feedback...

Do you have a gamecube mem card inserted ? that mucks up certain HBC stuff i have heard.

I have updated and so have a friend of mine.
We both have unmodded PAL wiis.
Homebrew Channel working and also the WiiBackupLoader.
The rest of the tests were done only by me:
Any Region Changer - Not Tested. (Yet)
WAD Installation - Working, various WADs used.
HBC Installation - Not Tested, will not test.

it's ok, i didn't use it that much anyway....... and i still have the backup loader channel installed..... not that my internet is fast enough to download very many...

Well Wad Installer won't let me install any Wads. Keeping getting ticket error (perhaps I need to use my own common-key?)

Came up with a 205 something error when it tried to connect to the Wii Channel. Said it can't be fixed for now.

Homebrew Channel seems to work fine.

I think it's safe to say that this latest incremental update (not even 3.4) is a game-breaker.

Just that we haven't figured the exact terms of operation yet, although the initial guesses of the inbuilt IOS being patched seem to be correct.

Well, I'm having no problems so I don't care, but that's probably the best thing to do right now...

I also tried to reïnstall the Homebrew channel. Not working. I did back it up to my SD card trough Wii management, but.. Nintendo was smart enough to think about that as well. Since I cannot copy it back.

Luckily I can still use the Twilight hack for my main homebrew needs (not much of those anyway)

Installing anything including the Homebrew channel via Twilight just returns error -2011.

Unless that's a region error code and it's saying that this is an error because the Homebrew channel is not PAL? (This is a UK-PAL system.)

That's a thought actually. What region is the homebrew channel SUPPOSED to be? I'm afraid I didn't test any PAL WiiWare games to install to play (I had none to hand and as part of my test, Homebrew channel got deleted)

I don't think the -2011 error is regarding 3.4 update. Reason being is I used Wad Manager thru HBC to install wads before, but I needed to go to the shop channel and it made me upgrade to 3.3U ( I think I accessed before 3.4 was released, because this was at like 10:30 or sp PM EST) and now I am getting the -2011 error when trying to install any WADs thru Wad Manager. Even Wads that have worked before.

I can't seem to find any threads other than people complaining, so can anyone point me to a thread on how to downgrade my US console back to 3.2? Thanks

And if anyone has more info on the -2011 error, that would be greatly helpful as well since I can't find any info on this. Thanks!

Sry, you have the '3.4' version. It's a minor update so Nintendo left it at 3.3. This mean that the error while installing WADs can indeed be related to the update.
Oh, and about downgrading, just use the search function, you will find it probably! (I don't know how to do it so I can't help you more than this)
