The update is complete. The Homebrew Channel is working perfectly. Everything else is also running as usual. One detail, though: no 3.4. I just updated into 3.3U. When the update was finished, I got a message about Parental Controls. I think that's all they did

This actually has me a bit worried with the massive amount of IOS changes/additions in comparison to previous updates INCLUDING 3.3 with the Zelda:TP save fix.

Even if it doesn't do anything openly malignant, any patches made through homebrew to existing Ninty IOS's are either going to be problematic in a brick or freeze sort of way (if the updates simply 'patch' the IOS without any checksumming beforehand) or simply overwrite existing patches.

I can't recall what DVDx defaulted to, but IOS numbers 33 through 36 are modified with this update according to the list so it may get affected.

well, the system menu wasn't changed, I think it still uses IOS30, and IOS30 wasn't changed, but I wonder what all those other IOS changes were for.
