Hello everyone,

First time poster here. I decided to make this post since I am having issues with my Wii U. Currently, my Wii U will not boot up to the main menu. It stays stuck on the Wii U logo indefinitely.

There are a few things to note about my console. The console is the black 32 gb model. I believe it was bought during the 2012 holiday season (release) as we were expecting to play Pikmin 3 before it got delayed. The system has never been modded in any fashion. It was not the most heavily played console, and I can't even give a good estimate of when it was last used (at least more than 3 years).

I have already tried doing the UDPIH, however it does not seem to be working. When using the second recovery menu, I get a white screen with some blue lines (see attached image). I believe this is similar to what @fadafwet described in his post. I was able to get the logs from the system, which I have attached to this post. Any idea what the issue may be and how to fix it? Any help would be much appreciated.

Apologies for the late reply. I realized I left out one or two screens in between. I'll post pictures later, but viewing downloadable content took me to a page with the different content, and I think clicking on one of them (fighter pass 1 in this case) gave the message of some of the content already being on the console.

When you say take a look at usr/title and sys/title, I assume I'll be looking at them via FTP (in my case WinSCP)?

I finally got Tiramisu and Homebrew working on the Wii U. I think I had a problem with a specific SD card. I’m currently FTP’d to the system and will be looking at the files. In the meantime, I’m posting pictures from the eShop, some of which are repeats.

I haven't tried that yet just out of caution. Once I'm done with my FTP session, I can give it a shot.

Any idea where DLC might be stored on the system? I'm guessing SLC since we said that earlier, but I'm not finding anything that seems to be related to Smash Bros.

I'll try seeing what happens first when I try to download the content.

Also, since I'm basically at the point where I can try transferring over files from my MLC extract, I'm wondering what I can safely transfer over. We talked about user IDs, but could the user folders just be transferred over (not sure if I'm using the correct terminology)? I probably can't just copy over the entire mlc and slc folders, but where would a safe place be to start?

No as I said in a previous post each user has a id starting with 80000000 and counting up from there. For each title in the save folder you will find a subfolder with the users ID who played it.
Also in usr/save/system/act/ you will find a folder for each account. So you know which userers existed

Yes I remember that post. Actually just went to look at it. I'll take a look for the IDs.

Right now, the Wii U has been acting a bit weird. It sometimes takes a couple tries to get the gamepad to connect, and just now I got the error code 160-0103. I guess UDPIH might be able to fix it, but that would probably mean I have to desolder the pico, unless of course de_Fuse could fix it.

can you dump the logs? 160-0103 meens either there is a problem with your solder, the file system somehow corrupted or the SD card is failing. We should figure out that first.

EDIT: What SD card did you use for the nand aid? Are you sure it's not a fake one?

Might have to use recovery if I can’t get past the error, but we’ll see.

As for the SD card, I’m using a SanDisk 64GB MAX Endurance microSDXC that I purchased from Amazon. I went and double checked the vendor, and it was sold by Amazon.com Services LLC. Unless it’s a spoof seller, it should be a real card. I guess it’s possible the card could be failing, but I would doubt it. I also kind of doubt a problem with my solder because I was able to get the system working several times. I’ll still dump the logs, but right now I’m leaning towards the file system being corrupted due to how finicky it was to get the system to work sometimes.

I've attached three different logs since I wasn't sure which one we'd be needing. One is just minute loading (not sure if anything useful is there), another one is the crash log, and the third one is me trying patch and boot.
