You cant inject roms bigger than the default rom size or you will break the emulator until you restart the VC.Update to this post, it works, it was tedious, but it works, will test games now
Edit: Some of my test results, many games gave black screens, even games with a reasonable file size. 6 MB Snes ROMs will always crash no matter what, and I used Donkey Kong Country as a base, the game itself is 4 MB in size.

Some 2 MB ROMs work fine, others don't, same with 1, 1.5, or 2.5 MB ROM files freak out. Not even Nintendo's in-house Snes emulation is perfect, and I believe the SPC700 is using Anomie's S-SMP core, the reason I believe this is from the Chrono Trigger Music Library, the track "Last Battle" uses the Lavos scream, but it sounds way off compared to Snes9x, which uses Blargg's S-SMP for audio.
Okay, so I'm getting some funky results with this, not necessarily bad, but rather, baffling:
When I load the OS driver directly, from here http://wj44.bplaced.net/osdriver/ OSdrive initializes just fine, but when I tried from the main http://wj44.bplaced.net, it crashes.
And now I'm getting a race attack failure. UGH this is....I don't know anymore, this is third time. I swear, unplugging and rebooting the Wii U this many times can't be good.
Seiken densetsu 3!? HOLY SHIT!Update to this post, it works, it was tedious, but it works, will test games now

I guess the french translation should work thenThat's just it, many of the ROMs I tested, barring Star Ocean and Tales of Phantasia (being 48 Megabits), other games, 2-4 MB also crashed, and simply weren't compatible. Games like Power Rangers, Tiny Toon Adventures, all less than 4 MB, so I don't know. So yeah, 6 MB is out, doubtful they'll ever work via VC injection, also, odd that some 2 MB game worked, Earthworm Jim 2 loaded fine, but had missing sound effects, the SPC700 emulation isn't completely accurate it seems, heh
Are there any other VC bases that could be used to overcome the other games I tested that didn't work? I.e. ones <4 MB?Still baffled as most of the ROMs never exceeded 32 Megabits.
@VinsCool Yup, the DeJap translation works when injected into Donkey Kong Country![]()

I don't know, I haven't seen any eShop ROM that's bigger than 4 MB in the Snes section, only two games were ever 6 MB in size.ok, in that case, what is the biggest title to get on the eshop, in order to have the larger template ?
thanks, hopefully, a FW spoofer will come out and i'll be able to play with your toys too.
i'm wondering if i should not update now to 5.5 and stay there, buying some VC and wait for 5.5 exploits to be released in few months ..
yeah im hoping we either get a spoofer, emunand style setup and/or confirmed downgrading abilities, tbh im all for devs holding onto exploits until they are patched, better to prolong their life than to just burn them all for the sake of one quick burst of mass compatibility followed by the inevitable eternal wait for new ones leading to unplayable games etc further down the line, but i guess a hardware downgrade method would avoid that you would at least be able to update the system to play some new game or play onlineI would strongly, very strongly advise you not update, I would wait till firmware spoofing is more viable, because while there will be an eventual exploit for 5.5.0, it could be several months, before anything comes out. So, for now, either exploit, or online, can't have both for a while at least.
I'd personal hold off on 5.5.0, but, to each their own![]()
Yeah I noticed that a while ago but don't know what that's about but it seems he only works on wiiu related hacking, it just might be something but I'm not sure what?Do you guys think this is related to wiiu?

I've never seen plutoo work on Sony stuff and 3ds seems unlikely, so I wonder.
