Hacking WII-U BAN

I know the 3DS ban came out of nowhere, but do we suspect a WII-U ban to be coming and what can we do to protect ourselves besides unmod the units?

Edit: The Wii U servers will most likely be killed off soon anyways, so I don't think we'll have to protect anything.

Put it this way Nintendo have had a year and a half to patch all the Wii U exploits out there, they haven't bothered to release a new system update in that time to even try.

1. they've said no new 1st party games
2. hackerone bounty specifically excluded wiiu submissions
3. they haven't updated firmware in 17 months despite piracy exploits in the wild
4. No more wiiu system production

With the above as any indication, I don't think they will bother with a banwave.

It's just Splatoon but with more weapons and new stages. What's wrong with that?
Plus a new coop mode, which looks fun, and what seems to be an improved single player mode.

I don't see NNID getting a shutdown anytime soon, especially when NNID is still around.
Look at Monster Hunter, it's overfilled with people online. Wii U might be out of support but gamers will still support it.
